[Build 41] knife critical hit ?

Hi ,
Knife critical hit (one shot) are they random now? ive tried different timings , sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesnt;
So are the chances to hit calculated by the short blades skill now?

This is intentional. The higher your skilll, the higher the chance you get to one shot move. Better knives also increase it.

 

Will probably look at adding some elements of stealth to the knife later on to compensate for this change somewhat, since it makes sense that if you take the time to sneak up a zombie, you should be able to dispatch it faster.
