Weight Increase

So as I was playing project zomboid I stopped looting houses and started to erect a big wall around my entire base to keep me safe. After a while of building this wall I noticed that my player had developed the "Overweight" trait. I tried everything in the book from starving him to only eating a few meals a day but nothing worked and even the days I didn't feed him, his weight would gradually increase every hour by .01 and I wasn't sure how to stop it. He's at 90 kg now and its still on the rise. Any help?

Posting to follow this. I've also had this problem, haven't fixed it yet either. I found I'm generally overweight after about 2 weeks in. I wish it was slower than that, both to put on weight and to lose it. I feel weight might fluctuate too quickly. Obesity isn't a problem that I want to be dealing with 2 weeks into the zombie apocalypse.
