Deleting Recipes using Lua

Hi all i am wondering is there a way to delete an existing recipe using lua. So like to delete the module Base Recipe Make Wooden Spear . This is so that i can rewrite it on my own script file (which i will add wooden stick as an alternative to tree branch) and will not become a double recipe for making the same thing.

 

I have read that recipe modification is asked before in the forums but nobody can answer or give any example but maybe deleting it is much simpler solution but sadly i also do not know how to do it. (tried modifying some codes to edit the source array list using scriptManager but i am not very good at this so i cant make it to work)
