Mod Help?

First post everyone, hope I'm putting this in the right board.

 

I currently have a save-file with Dead Overhaul installed. If I wanted to add another mod to that save-game file, could I install it without needing to create a new game? Or is that impossible?

 

I think what I'm asking is, are there any types of mods I can incorporate into my current file without the need to restart?

It really just depends on the mod; you'll have to ask the mod author. Unfortunately we just can't know for all of the mods out there.
