In the Walter Matthau and Jack Lemmon movie "Buddy Budyy" (1981) the killer add a potato at the end of his rifle for a one time use silent shot. How does this sound? nasKo Posted March 29, 2015 Share Posted March 29, 2015 How does this sound?Like this, I'd guess From previous discussion regarding silencers/suppressors, the general consensus was that silencers aren't really what Hollywood and games like Splinter Cell tell us.They're still pretty loud (comparable with She-Hulk my girlfriend smashing the door shut). I think they mostly suppress the muzzle flash and caused shockwave by the sound instead of actually making the shots silent enough? As always, people are free to make a mod for this. It's unlikely to be in the base game, at least with the effect that most people desire. Closing this since it's more or less this.
