Random
Hi new to the forums and I had a suggestion for level 5 carpentry (Did check for similar ideas but didn't find any) so i noticed that you can replace wooden floor to make it look better when you're a higher level but with wooden walls you can't so I am suggesting that when you're level 5 or 4 and walls look a hell of a lot more better, rather than having to look for sledgehammer to break it down and rebuild (which can be quite time consuming) you just "patch the walls"or something so they look just as good. Now obviously this is pretty low priority but I think it wouldn't be that hard to implement especially since it can be done with floors. This could also apply to doors and frames . Would love some feedback, I think its fairly realistic and doable but you tell me.
migulao
No, it's not realistic. If you are a crappy carpenter in the beginning, and made crappy walls, they would stay crappy, if you got better at carpentry from making more walls, then the most recent walls would be more fortified and better looking, while the old ones would stay... well, crappy. It doesn't make sense if an old rusty wood wall spontaniously combusts into a steel spaceship roof (I exagerated MASSIVELY, I know.) just because the maker suddendly got better at carpentry. EDIT: I re-read the post, did you mean just, like, spend a plank on them, to repair and make them look better and higher level? if so, sorry, I didn't notice
Croak90
I honestly wouldn't mind having a "rebuild" option to reclaim the planks and rebuild them with fresh nails to make it look better.

Th3or1st
It's a nice idea. Spending a plank and a nail (for example) to upgrade crapy old walls to your current level of carpentry would be very useful and a lot better then having to destroy and rebuild it. Also it seems realistic to me to be able to improve your stuff from earlier on with a bit of extra wood.
