Going to refer back to that conversation when I undoubtedly run into similar problems! I also noticed that for some unknown reason my desktop, that I want to run the server on, has a slower internet connection then my laptop... which is weird because I formatted the computer back to factory yesterday. There shouldn't be any fishy programs on here or malware. I might take it to a local computer shop and pick their brains about the whole thing.

Oh sweet, I got it! At least with the localhost IP. Now comes the more complicated part of trying to figure out if other people can log on... I've never done anything like this before.

man, 12 gigs? Well one thing at a time I guess. XD I'm going to restart the computer and then try it over again. I'll post when I get back if it does or doesn't work!

So I'm trying to start a server going on my Desktop PC, so far I have opened the ports and figured out how to run the server set up for 32bit and 4gigs of ram. So now that it's telling me the server is started, how do I actually get into the game via it? Maybe I missed a step?

Half the fun in multiplayer is the epic hikes. Not needing to sleep, and with the zombies not being as grabby as single player, you can legitimately cross all of Muldraugh in a single day. I've roamed further afield in multiplayer than I ever have in singleplayer. I never made the trip from Muldraugh to West Point in singleplayer, and I've already done it at least five times on the one server I don't understand why this is a response to my post...?

I'd also like to know this! Or maybe a map that has coordinates on it?? We're trying to use the North Farm as a spawn point. ^.^

So if my game says Build 24, can I connect to this server? I'm seriously confused about how I'm supposed to update to Build 25. x.x edit: I think.. I have found something which answers my question. XD

I gave it a shot connecting and I couldn't get in either. It says the same thing, connection failed. Also looking forward to playing in PVE! I hope this server is working soon!

I was having a good time on this server yesterday for HOURS, lol. Unfortunatly I can't get online now. Sad face!
