  1. All cool, but honestly I don't see anything in b42 that really covers the late game. I mean some incentive to go out and explore after you have set up a functional base. That should be n1 priority, but maybe it's just me.

All really great, I really hope we won't have to wait much more. About one aspect that I really care about: late game. From the video, late game objectives: more things to build\craft.. I really hope there's more than that, something that can really justify for example having to travel to a distant place to obtain or discover something impactful.. othewise, if that's just "build more useless things", that's indeed useless for making the late game viable/better.
  3. Read the 'wall of text' answer :D. Thank you, it was an interesting read. Btw my "external (and uninformed) impression" right now is that you have a pretty nice and functional team, and that's where I found strange that so much time is needed to get out B42. But tbh it's probably me wanting more from this game, because B42 already has a lot of stuff. I also wanted to address what you wrote here: Actually, at least from my perspective, PZ is incredibly good in this regard. I mean: every time I play (and die) again, I always set up different objectives. Even if I start with the same character in the same city, there's always something different in my strategy because of what I've learned from my previous playthrough. And of course what happens to you every single day is unpredictable and that (at least for me) is what makes this game incredibly fun to play every time. That said, I know it could be much, much more, both in the key aspects of gameplay that are still missing, and in all those (not so) little details that could feed the replayability I was talking about: in one sentence, "give the survivor something to live for", something that makes him/her depart from his safehouse and risk his life. That's the direction that I hope the game is taking, because it would multiply a lot the 'fun' I was taking about and the unique reaplyability this game has. Merry Christmas to you all.
  4. You mean that the only solution to have a faster development (with no compromises on quality) would have been\is "to metaphorically flog the staff bloody and to the point of unconsciousness"? It's a genuine question, I'm not ironic: you think there's/could have been no other solution?
  5. Tbh you can be ambitious and thorough.. and not this slow. Just saying. For example..but this is just my personal preference cause I'm not interested in it: skipping multiplayer and its huge effort would have probably (can't be sure) brought 42, 43..45 like one year ago. This is a fantastic game, really, but far from being complete (as in with key features missing that mods can't bring in) My 2c

I don't know why (must be love), but there's no game in my steam library or wishlist that I desire to play more than PZ That's why I hope it won't be much more till the next release

    BagZ of fun

I know it's unfair, but I wonder where the game would be now without all this effort (development time) put into multiplayer.

I'm just gonna say I really like the idea of using lore to enrich the players experience AND at the same time add objectives for them. I'd invest more in that. PS: I stopped playing a while ago, telling myself I'm gonna go back to PZ only at 43. There's like 0 probability I'm gonna do that
