  1. Good news, your items finally showed up in some crates in the large warehouse so now i don't have to restart.
  2. Yes, items should respawn and you should not have to start a new game. If, however, you want to use the newest version which I am about to upload and you already have an older version installed then you will more than likely need to start a new game if you already have an ALICE pack with attachments in your inventory. Sorry, nature of the beast sometimes. Well none of the items have shown up in my old save even with the mod enabled so I don't have an ALICE pack with any attachments. So if I can change the item respawn so it is enable then it should work is what it sounds like your saying, right? To use any mod that spawns items with an already in progress game, you will need to search for items in places you have not searched before. Not sure how the item respawn works as I've never played a game with it turned on. I would guess that it would spawn my items though. Funny, I looked to see if i had enabled item respawn and I did, but its set to monthly respawn. So I guess I'll just have to wait and see. Hopefully your items spawn when the respawn happens. The fort I built required me to clear out a large amount of trees which took a while so fingers crossed.
  3. sorry, internet lagged and it double posted.

  5. This mod is pretty awesome. The only problem is that I had to start a new game in order to get it to work, which kinda sucks cause the fort i made took a week to make. If I have the item respawn turned on in sandbox mode will your items respawn on my old save? Really don't want to have to start over.
  6. Might as well. I suppose finding something like riot gear in the police stations, fireman suits at fire stations, a hazmat suit at a check point, and football gear at the schools wouldn't be too bad. I just don't see why we wouldn't have the option to craft some makeshift armor.
  7. I'm well aware that skill is needed to make armor, but I'm not really thinking about traditional armor. Plus wouldn't you be able to find skill books to help with making armor? Maybe even some blueprints to help out as well?
  8. So you'd rather find armor which adds to the different types of loot you can find than adding more to the crafting element of the game? If that's the case you must not play games like TES Morriwind, Oblivion or Skyrim where you can craft better armor than you can find. I'm just saying more added to crafting would be better than a larger loot pool.
  9. Those items could be used as armor by themselves but the general idea of making armor gives us more to do in the game. Those items could be used in the construction of some armor. But doesn't the game take place a few weeks after the initial infection? If that's the case some of those items would be difficult to find because other survivors would have already thought of those items for armor.
  10. No, using tires is a ridiculous idea, they are heavy, restrict your movement, extremely hot, bulky and would be quite ineffective as zombies could simply pull it off. Well, it wouldn't be made of just tires, belts would be used to attach it to yourself so it wouldn't be so easy to rip off. Plus wearing it on your arms and legs wouldn't encumber you as much as if u were wearing a full suit of tires. Still would heavy, restrictive, hot and bulky. Even if it was made to look similar to shin and arm guards?

  12. Making armor from tires is a good idea. If anyone has played How to survive by 505 games, you know what I'm talking about. It's the only example I can think of from another game.
  13. Yeah, I don't think special zombies like in L4D would work in PZ. But I think something like police zombies in riot gear could be a "tough" type that moves slow, or a zombie in his/her underwear could be your "nimble" zombie that runs faster and climbs walls.(although i wouldn't want to see this type)
  14. Yeah, i can see them adding battery powered ones first because we have batteries already, but i would imagine oil lamps would also be there as well, just saying.
  15. I hope so. Oh, just thought of another use for the oil lamp, you could throw it to set stuff on fire.
