  1. I got inspired by Saints and Sinners, where with some bladed weapons, you could cut off enemies heads and display them in on your weapon rack back at base. I think something similar could be done for pz, where if you're using a long blade weapon, there's a chance that you could decapitate a zombie/player, with the chance increasing with each level of strength you have. I think it could work wonderfully for rp, as cutoff heads could be used by people rp-ing as raiders, for obvious reasons. it would also bring more incentive to use long blade, as everyone likes a good trophy, and long blades are not often used in everyday pz.
  2. I think there should be a rope added in all the churches allowing players to ring the church bells, acting as a one mega-distraction, as in attracting the whole town to the church. This could make for clearing tactics that offer higher risk, but higher reward compared to other clearing methods like the ambulance-campfire combo.
  3. I got inspired by this from Putin on the pz discord going thru one of the radio's chat logs about a group of survivors who've fortified the Nashville Air Force Base. As of right know, this is the only radio broadcast that is outside of the Knox Exclusion Zone. I suggest that we have more broadcasts like this on the radio, not just news about how the infection is spreading or the like, but about factions coming to power, people or small groups sending out SOS's, things that would make the world feel like you're not the only one in it right now.
  4. My suggestion is simple, to allow us to paint walls without having to plaster them. Reason being is that plastered walls are just too damn clean, like their drywall or something. it lacks the overall "apocalyptic" feel that unplastered walls have. Allowing for unplastered walls to be painted could also allow for floors and fences to be painted as well (Ill make a full-on post abt this if this suggestion is well received.), which would be a HUGE win for builders since 1: it would allow carpentry builds to be not totally brown, and 2: could serve factions purposes in MP as well, with different factions having different colors, showing in more than the walls.
  5. Bulldozers would have unique properties exclusive to it. The pros of the Bulldozer would be: -ability to clear large amounts of trees -ability to bulldoze right thru high fences and thru walls -ability to plow right thru hordes of zombies However, the drawbacks would balance it out: -No doors to protect you from zombies or other players -Loud as hell (bout as loud as a shotgun) -Huge gas guzzler -would have rare, unique mechanic parts -Slow as a car with sunday driver -Only found in Storage or Construction zones
  6. It isnt very realistic that you can see just a black void when you reach the fence guarding players from getting out-of-bounds. Instead, I think that the military should fire upon you as you get closer, similar to what subnautica does. at first you would see captions saying something like "TURN AROUND AND LEAVE IMMEDIATELY!". if you dont turn around and leave like you are instructed to do, you will see captions saying "FINAL WARNING: TURN AROUND AND LEAVE IMMEDIATELY!" and you will hear warning shots close to you. but if you do not listen, after a few seconds, you will start to be fired upon by military forces. But, considering the lore, I think this would only last for however long the military is guarding knox Country. Once Louisville is breached and the military falls, then instead of military forces, there should be a minefield spanning 7 tiles from the fence.
  7. Taking a look at each towns school I noticed that none of them have football fields. I think for realism, that each high school in each of the towns should have a football field added. I dont think its too hard to add, and it would allow for a unique RP experience once MP comes out in a month or so: football teams. Similar to how theres the Riverside Rangers for Riverside, I think there should be unique teams for the towns: Muldraugh, for example, could have something like the "Muldraugh Mammoths" or West Point could have like "West Point Wolves". The RP would come in with the possiblity of groups being formed out of pre-apocalypse groups. like how in Fallout 4, the triggermen are based off of the mafia. I even speak from experience, Im in a pz discord that once MP comes out, will be formed from the pre-apocalypse Riverside Rangers.
  8. Ok, so i downloaded the updated program form april 6th. whenever i try to open it, it says it cannot open because its missing some .dll files. can list the ones it says if needed. Thanks.
  9. So i think that one of the biggest problems with house alarms currently is that you have no way of knowing which house has one and which house doesnt. No one likes having every zombie suddenly start b-lining straight to their location for no other reason than picking the wrong house to loot food from. I think a good solution to this problem would be having signs out front of houses indicting theres an alarm active, like those little ADT signs. Some might find this a little broken or defeats the purpose, but Im not done just yet. They would be toggable in the settings, they could be made to appear very rarely, or simply appear for every alarm-rigged house.
