The beta-build seems fine to me. It´s sometimes a little performance-hog and the spawn-problem needs to get solved asap but other then that I´m pretty happy with it.
Hope to see some performance-improvements soon!

Isn´t hard to believe if you see the stuttering caused by the FPS-drop, like the old complete stops in one of the old versions (garbage collector thing).

Im experiencing slow downs on my computer when moving forward only, almost like the game goes 30% slower then speeds back up, my Average FPS is 60-70 but when it slows down it goes from 60-70 to 35-40 then back up. Im running the steam version.
Windows 7 64-bit
8 GB of 1600 Ram
Nvidia GTX770
Intel i7-3770 3.4 Ghrz
SSD hard drive
Everything is up to date including Java and Im fairly certain the game did'nt do this before steam version.
Oh and I forgot to mention, does holding the left button supposed to attack constantly other then charging the swing? if I hold the left button to a door with a bat or a golf club it sounds like a machine gun going off.
Same for me! Slightly different specs but the overall game-experience is pretty bad.
And @EnigmaGrey: Yep, there are people who really struggle with FPS but the described issue is just as bad as low FPS and a huge mystery for me.

At topic: Glad to see the door bug finally fixed! Oh and Romain you mentioned the blood on hitting a zombie twice

Well i am trying my best to find a good recording program and when i do i will end up showing a quick show off all and end up making video's for everything once done
If you want a free program I recommend MSI Afterburner and when you plan on recording more stuff Dxtory is the way to go (much more settings then fraps and you can easily record more soundsources).
Really looking forward too any footage you may present us.

I already can spawn items (with the methods you mentioned but want to understand the "inside" of PZ.
For example what the number stands for (e.g. how PZ tosses the dice for lootspawn).

So the menu when hitting ESC will come back? Would be awesome if you will end up in the main menu when dying.

Yep, an additional option to turn it off would be nice (but I think this can wait until the steam release is around the corner).

Personally I think it´s good to have a decent amount of rare items so you have to explore more. I´m just curious if it´s currently possible to be stranded because certain items don´t even spawn on your map?
