  1. I'm in the process of making the restaurant/apartment from the animated series Bob's Burgers, but I can't figure out how to place the full-sized windows from Greene's. I thought it was the second icon to the left that makes walls invisible, but nothing appears even though I select that bitmap. Thanx! PS - Okay, I figured it out, but now when I want to place windows the walls are now invisible. How do I get it to go back to normal?
  2. TC, grab my Killer Cutlery Mod, which gives you: Cleaver, Crab Knife, Craving Fork, Ice Pick, Meat Tenderizer, Vegetable Peeler, and Watermelon Knife. http://theindiestone.com/forums/index.php/topic/1008-killer-cutlery-mod-v03b/
  3. No, I didn't give up on this mod. Its just that I haven't been able to play beyond version 2.9.9.17 until v26 came out. Yes, I could have went to Steam, but I hate it. I don't like the way its designed. Desura is superior except for it not being able to post beta releases. Anyways, here's Killer Cutlery v0.3b for v26.
  4. They should at least make outdoor blood spatter disappear with rain. There's not reason for blood to stick around. All it does in eat up processing resources.
  5. I'm trying to update my Killer Cultery mod and I need to know the West Point building names for distribution. My old distribution code has stuff titled "kitchen_crepe" and "spiffoskitchen" for the Crepe and Spiffos restaurants in Muldraugh. Thanx!
  6. I wish the character detail was way more detailed like the Yahoo game The Last Stand: Dead Zone. Its similar in design as PZ using the same game perspective, but uses small maps that are 3D pre-rended. What really makes LS:DZ seem better is the quality detail they put into skinning their 3D characters and maps. When you zoom in on them you can really see how much work they put into skinning. Also LS:DZ's world looks like a zombie apocalypse happened looking very dirty while PZ's comes off way too clean and flat, not looking like a used universe. Yes, there's garbage in PZ, but its clean looking garbage.
  7. I brought this up earlier, but they shot it down saying its too complex to do.
  8. You just don't get it. The suggestion is to block freak occurrences of accidental window resizing from happening. It has nothing to do with other players' preferred screen resolution. What's the point of allowing a window go below a 800x600, which is the minimum game setting?
  9. In the middle of playing a game I was fighting some zombies when I somehow accidentally grabbed the side of and window and resized the width to around 200. I quickly fixed the problem and luckily didn't get hurt. The game needs to have a built-in minimum screen size limit of 800x600 when a player resizes the window..
  10. Its good to see this old suggestion pop up again.
  11. I don't like the fact I have to unequip a container on my back to swap it out with another. It would be easier if the command to equip on your character's back is always present even when a container is on your back. The game will just swap containers.
  12. I tired it before I posted, but it never worked for me. How about having the mouse icon change to show you're on top of it.
  13. I want to see the complete text name on items, but there's no way to do it. Even on small text the windows chop off the tail of item names. I really don't care much what Type an item is, so its weird that that field takes up so much space. All that needs to be done is where the UI lists "Item" and "Type" be able to grab the separation point of the two fields and slide it left or right to the desired size.
  14. Sadly, I'm still stuck at playing an old version because PZ won't release Build 23 on Desura even thiugh its stable, but none the less this problem came up involving the tent. I left my tent up and went to go chop down trees to fortify Spiffos and when it was time to go to sleep the game couldn't identify the tent when I right clicked on it, so I lost my tent. My solution is instead of having to right click to take the tent down it should appear as an icon in your Loot window, so all you have to do is drag, grab, etc. to take it down. This will also remove the bug of the game losing your tent, since its recognized the same way as other objects on the ground.
  15. For my first build project I plan to design some brownstone apartment buildings. For those that don't know what they are they're a mainstay of New York were the front/back side is very thin, but very deep (about 2-3 times their front) and are placed flush against each other. Each floor has one apartment and are usually 3 stories tall and a basement. Since PZ doesn't have basements yet, it'll resemble more modern Los Angeles style.
  16. Fog could be a morning weather event. Though not Kentucky, when I was a kid in Sunnyvale, CA (about 200 miles South of San Fransisco) when I went to school the morning fog was like pea soup on the huge playground (5x bigger than a football field). You couldn't see beyond 10-15 feet in front of you.
  17. I don't use Steam, so that's not the problem, and I used 'projectzomboid32.exe' to get it to at least load to the black game screen. I used the 'projectzomboid.bat' file and just got an error response. I also don't like the fact the game now loads a 640x480 window on my 1440x7?? screen. It seems like every new update the play window gets smaller and smaller.
  18. I got around to installing 2.9.9.17 and it doesn't work on my laptop. After creating a game I get a black screen and the game locks up, so until there's another Desura release I can use I can't do any updates or new mods.
  19. Just to let you know I haven't abandoned this mod. Its just that I haven't put much effort into it with how slow frame rate has bogged down game play and there hasn't been a Desura release in a long while. I'll look at dred's fix to see what he did and might add a few new goodies. Thanx for the quick fix, dred!
  20. All we need is one of those little hammers for shattering car windows. It makes barely any noise. The shattering of the glass would still create quite a bit of noise. Can't find the best video, so this was all I could find, but the audio dips when they shatter the glass with one. Skip to 4:42 But we're not breaking a car window, just a small pane of glass. Tapping a window pane enough to crack it wouldn't make much noise. There's also the old school way of breaking a window pane like in 1940's movies. When a gangster wants to B&E a house without making much noise, he'd take off his hat, place the top against the pane, punch into the hat and then open the window.

  22. I brought up this suggestion a while back but it was shot down saying it was too complex. I don't see how they couldn't just copy the weapon code and convert it to work with clothes having them get worn through zombie attacks.
  23. I don't see why the moddle for pain pops up immediately when a character starts to become sick from a cold. When I get sick from a cold I don't in anyway show signs of being in what I consider pain. The only time the pain should pop up is if you're in really bad shape from having the flu. So basically what I'm suggesting is that the moddles when it comes to being sick should be switched. The illness moddle should be popping up first and get worse and then by the end the pain moodle should appear. Doing it this way will also fix a lot of confusion when if comes to knowing if you're truly in trouble from a zombie attack or have just a cold. One good example of this confusion is when I got scratched by a zombie. After I put on a bandage and the pain moodle disappeared only to reappear a few seconds later. I thought my character was going to zombiefy and went into a bedroom to slowly die (I used the FF button) to make sure. After 24 hours the moodle for sick finally appeared to my relief.
  24. There's currently a mod for this problem.
  25. I'll repost this classic video.
