How is the Lumberjack profession going for you? Would you recommend it and is it, in your opinion, well worth the points? Love it. You might not think that the extra swing speed would mean that much, but I find I am able to hold off more zombies at once with it. Without the speed, you end up in a situation where after swinging on one zombie, the next one that comes in you end up pushing because they got too close. With the speed boast from lumberjack, that rarely happens. With the right rhythm and positioning, I can hold back 10+ zombies with ease. I've taken on a horde of about 25 all at once and survived without a scratch, at only lvl 3 blade accuracy. I highly recommend it for a serious melee build. As for the points, you see the build. When you are going pure melee, what more do you need?

You can run for a good long time, you can smack around zombies all you want, and hey, dexterous! If you can't handle the conspicuous and clumsy traits then drop them along with fast learner.

While not exactly solved, we did find a work-around fix. Opening command prompt and type "ping (ip number)" followed by immediately joining the server works to let the players connect.

I am attempting to modify the weight of the crossbow bolts in your mod. Upon looking into media/scripts/weapons ranged, I found the settings to change. I found something weird though, in-game the bolts have a weight of 1, yet in the configs the weight is set to 0.05. I changed the weight to 0.02 yet the weight of the bolts remained 1 in-game. Am I missing something here? Will you please help me with this?

So... is there anyone that actually does help support? What's this forum even for? There are players that are having a hard time with playing a game that they enjoy, your game. Don't you want to help them out? I have to talk to these guys everyday. Everyday it's the same thing about how they cannot connect, they want to play. I have done all I can trying to find answers, and they know that. It still hurts me everytime having to tell them I am unable to do anything for them. I came here looking to get an issue resolved with those that are the curators of this game. Surely you have the heart to feel my pain, no... feel their pain. They are left out of the loop. Players denied the access to a community they wish to belong to. As it stands, I have to play gatekeeper and I hate it. Please help me resolve this issue.

Do you have capentry up to lvl 6 ? Level 6 huh? I just figured out that you need higher carpentry levels for different recipies. It just wasn't clear at that start. Thanks for the info.

I am unable to make a wooden ladder. I have all the supplies, 6 nails, 6 planks, 2 logs, hammer, and a saw. No matter which of these items I right-click upon I never get the option to craft a ladder. Any ideas?

We are currently hosting a dedicated, private server through Fragnet and have issues with connections for some players. I have gone through every fix I can find throughout the forums and beyond, but still cannot get these players to join. We have tried: Confirming IP address Port forwarding Opening ports in firewall Pinging the IP Both manually typing in IP and copy/paste Use of both "quick join" and "join server" buttons Deleting character save data Uninstall/reinstall Steam update New account name In every case of a player being unable to connect, they are able to connect to a public server. However, updating the configs for the server to make it public does not seem to fix the issue. The server is currently build 31.13 with Hydrocraft and CraftHelper installed. The Players have been given the proper mod files and are installed correctly. Again, only some players are unable to connect. Can you please help me with this issue? Edit* There have been players that were not able to connect because they did not have a password entered. This did not work for all players though. Continuing my work on this. Edit2* It has also been found that Hamachi has the ability to block from connecting to the server. This was only one player's issue, and hasn't worked for others.
