  1. Right, I give up so heres the model is anyone can be arsed to texture it... https://www.dropbox.com/s/fg45rm2fqom9g5d/ghdfsdgsdf.blend?dl=0
  2. Did the texture work right in the editor, and what program are you using?paint.net and no i dont think so....I meant for modeling, but if you did texturing in sketchup, it 100% won't work. You have to do it all in blender. Look up some tutorials on "UV mapping." For drawing textures onto your UV map, you'll probably want something like Photoshop or GIMP, unless paint.net has layers I did remake it in blender, thats the thing that the texture wont transfer to the model and yeah paint.net has layers...
  3. Did the texture work right in the editor, and what program are you using? paint.net and no i dont think so....
  4. So, Ive made the model and can export it but im having a hard time texturing it and cant get the texture to transfer onto the model for the life of me... any tips?
  5. Im working on the model currently, well. Trying...
  6. I have encountered a problem in my methods of using sketchup; since the model looks completely different to anything actually made in blender, I dont know how to group all the separate shapes, make a mesh, colour it and generally make it look like jabs spas 12, If you know any useful tutorials that correlate with the project zomboid genre they would be hugely helpful.
  7. Download Jab's scripts and open blender. Click the exclamation in the top left and choose text editor. Import one of the finished gun.txts Align your model to the complete one, IN EDIT MODE, and make sure the model translation properties (brown box on right) are zeroed out. Click on model, and export with the script. Thanks, I really hope it looks any good in the game...
  8. Right, so Ive made the model and imported to blender. What now? [edit] bear in mind my stupidity, im new to blender...
  9. Ok, ill try the silverhawk, VEPR and the Armsel then...
  10. Is there a full list to the guns which have been successfully modelled?
  11. Ive done some stuff and found out that you can use google sketchup (for me sketchup is one of the easiest and simplest modelling programs out there) to model the basic shape and export/import it to blender to render it and such. Dont know whether the final product will be any good but ill give it a go. [edit] do the guns have to be very detailed (like holes in the handguard and fire selector switch and stamped grooves in the magazine)?
  12. So what programs do/can you use for modelling?
  13. do you have realistic kentucky firearms? that has been known to have right click issues...
  14. So stuff like the MP44 or just modern OP guns like the USAS
