  1. I'm all for this all the time in horror flicks the crows cawing always spooks me the most
  2. I like it and it could work as long is the radius is small (don't know how small maybe just to the house across the street) as the sound coming from the house (even from a shelf falling) would be fairly muffled providing the doors/windows were closed and the insulation was intact.
  3. Being bit in the groin, worst wound ever...

  4. well they could puncture plate mail at a fair distance so a should be simple enough to down a shambler with one (providing you can hit the head) the reload would also be a bit long depending on the model (we talking daryls crossbow from the walking dead or something with more draw strength) other then that I'd also like to see crossbows in the game as well as a maul
  5. I think in a situation portrayed in the game the soldiers would be ordered to shoot anything that moves on the other side of the fence. As for why it's added perhaps it gets overrun after a while in game (sometime well after power-water failure) It could posses high level loot (IE lots of non-perishables, ammo and guns) but it would be heavily infested (size of a horde or two) due to all the gunfire that would be happening. The base being overrun could also trigger more zombies roaming about due to the new "silence" coming from the military base
  6. Yeah a random chance would be better, perhaps linking the % chance to have them trip to how decomposed a zed is. more decomposed = a slightly higher chance to have it trip?
  7. Greetings fellow survivors (or shamblers I don't judge) I come here today with an idea (hopefully original I ran a quick search of the forum for it and found nothing I also looked into the commonly suggested suggestions and the other one Kajin I think it was and found nothing So as it stands in the game when you approach a zombie they lunge/lurch at you with their arms outstretched, from this they gain a fairly decent boost of speed with no repercussions from it. I feel they should eventually fall over from their body weight being shifted forward suddenly (As I understand rotting corpses don't exactly have the best muscle control) [Terrible example diagram incoming] This is my representation of what I think should happen to them (note the lines behind the zombie represent the zombie moving faster it's bad I know) and after they fall over if they don't hit a wall/fence or survivor (hopefully that image posted and if you need any clarification on the idea or any criticism let loose that's what forums are for )
