  2. Wifi is constantly dropping out even if it doesn't appear like it is. Some applications and some routers just handle this better than others, but it's generally a very bad thing for video games like PZ, where a lot of unpredictable data needs to be moved quickly between server and client. ping google.com from cmd.exe. You should see ping spikes and unreachables fairly regularly. If this lasts for too long, the game will eventually assume that you've disconnected. We always recommend playing Project Zomboid with a wired connection.

Nope, it doesnt happen to him at all, but if i play on hotspot from my phone, it seems that the issue disappears, so it is very much possible that its from my wifi, but i dont understand why im instantly kicked off, my internet doesnt cut off or i lose full connection, im thinking i should just have ping spikes.   4. I have not seen this specific error before, but it seems to fail loading lua objects, which is likely mod related.   5. Interesting, just to further pinpoint the issue, does your brother get disconnected when playing on other servers as well? Since you said it happens to you, I want to make sure that it is not a network wide issue but that it only happens on your PC. If it happens to your brother on other servers as well, it might indicate a problem with your network, and I would suggest fixes based on that info.
  6. I think I have to recommend you contact the VPS service for support in that case, since it seems to be a connection issue on their side. It would be unlikely that it is a problem with the game or server, due to your old VPS working correctly. You can in the meantime try using the "Use Steam Relay" option when joining the server in hopes that the relay can stabilize the connection meanwhile.
  7. Yeah that may be the cause of the issue, generally anything above 100 will cause issues. If he generally has 94 it means he is around the border of when issues start happening, and once the ping goes to 200 in a vehicle it would just desync from the server. Does your friend perhaps get any port error messages when joining your server? Such as saying that port 16262 is closed.
  8. The issue may be due to your hardware specifications. When exactly did the game "run fine"? And did you change anything on your laptop since it ran well? Additionally, can you share your logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?
  9. Hi, I'm having trouble with the game. I read the forum bug rules and disabled all mods and I still can't play. Deleted saves, uninstalled and reinstalled game to try to reset it. It gets to the "click to start game" part, but when I click, it crashes. Top ten game, honestly can't wait for B42. Additional info, I play on an unmodified HP Laptop 15-ef1xxx. It's not high specs, and I have 3.4 GBs of RAM (which I'm pretty sure PZ needs 2GBs to work). It always ran fine with minimal issues beyond delayed input and lagging (which is annoying and got me killed a lot, but still playable). Idk if this means anything, but my system info app says I have 4 GBs of installed RAM but 3.42 GBs of total physical RAM. Also 275 MB of usable RAM. Is it a RAM issue? I'd assume so, but I'm not technologically inclined so idk.
  10. He said he runs the game locked at 60 FPS, it hardly drops, but when it drops it stays at 50 FPS. In ping he said he gets 94 on foot and 200 when in the car.

  12. Apologies for not clarifying, but being connected to the VPS does not change anything. Players are randomly kicked, sometimes within 5 minutes and sometimes after several hours, ... and at different times for each player.

  14. Hello, I'm having certain problem in a dedicated server I rented. When I add certain number of mods (like 53) the next one would crash the server (I attached the log). At first I thought I did something wrong so I started from scratch again by wiping and reinstalling the server. Then I tried to create it in a host environment from the main menu and it worked fine, then I added the mods that were giving me problems and it was still working so I proceeded to add the list to the dedicated SV. I clarify that I have already made the server work but since I am still configuring it I continue adding mods but it reaches that amount (53) and if I add one more the server crashes at startup. Then I said maybe that mod I wanted to add has problems so I remove it and add another one and the server crashes again. At this moment I said, what bad luck, these two mods bring problems, I add a different third one and it crashes again. This is where it occurs to me to remove one more mod from the list (now 52) and add one of the mods that had caused the SV to crash previously and to my surprise the SV starts correctly. This is where I have doubts because are the mods the problem or the quantity? So I start counting them and I discovered that I have 53 workshop ID's. Now I add to the list the mod that I had removed before that worked in the original list and the startup crashes again so I come to the conclusion that the problem is not the mods but the quantity. It occurs to me that maybe the map mods are too heavy, I have about 10 active, I remove one, run a cleaner to delete that area of the map and the chunck's and suddenly, I can start adding more mods to the list, I get to Add now up to 58 ID's and I thought that maybe the maps were too heavy or something because the SV started without problems. When I wanted to add the last one (ID 59) the server crashed again so I deleted it but it kept crashing, I deleted another one and it kept crashing until I went back to 53 ID's as it was originally and there it loaded correctly but now I have one less map hehe. The truth is that all this is driving me a little crazy so I leave you the log to see if anyone has an idea about this problem and try to solve it. Despite erasing the map folders to create the maps again the SV crash with the same error and get terminated every time things goes wrong.   15. We are on the same network, my ping being around 3 to 10. It doesnt spike and then i get dc ed, it happens instantly without any lag before it, and it isnt triggered by me doing any ingame actions, its random.

  17. Are you sure you have a valid/public ipv4 address? Check your public IP by going to any of those sites (search something like "what's my IP" on Google) and compare it to the WAN IP from your router's HTTP interface. If they differ, you are behing a CGNAT, and nothing you do could make a server work outside of going through steamworks or asking your ISP to get you out of CGNAT (this will depend on your ISP/country laws).

  21. All players, including the owner, experience this issue, even on an empty server with no mods and default configs. The VPS server provides internet speeds of up to 100mbps.
  22. I think they already have this feature though it's a bit tricky to use. There should be some kind of menu you when try to load a save file to choose a character for it.
  23. Could the other player try connecting to a public server and test if the issues happen there as well? This is to investigate a larger problem with the connection.
  24. Are you on the exact same network as your brother? Such as being in the same house. And can you say what your ping is to the server? Since higher ping can usually mean a higher chance of a disconnect.
  25. Does it happen to all the players or just some? Does it even happen to the server owner? Additionally, can the server owner try connecting to the VPS, then connect to the server and see if they disconnect? This it to test for connection related issues and if using the VPS affects it.

Maximum eclipse will be at 13:03:32 local time when the 84.95% of Sun's surface will be covered by the Moon." - It also claims the partial eclipse vantage began at 11:20:42 and ended at 14:53:36 Since the game begins on the 9th of July 1993, it would only take 305 days before the solar eclipse happens, and only 15.05% of the sun would be uncovered from that part of the state at minimum. With there being a lot of players who've made it this far, I wonder if it might be an interesting detail to add for surviving over 300 days. Perhaps it could be mentioned on some broadcast, so the player has a clue about it happening in the distant future.
