    • Nobody is going to budge, the other person in this discussion is making literally zero effort to engage w/ the things I did say and is instead attacking things that I didn't, and going on unrelated tangents. His response to me bringing up a game w/ the kind of gameplay he's asking for was "nuh uh", and "this game has some inventory management so it's fine to add tons of layers of inventory management and make the guns even more disposable than they already are", then turn around and tell me that I'm not engaging with his discussion because I said that my beliefs were firm   I'm not even against the concept of adding new weapons, I'm even fine w/ having a few duplicate roles fulfilled by different weapons (such as a high and low grade 9mm etc), but he's making it out like I'm somehow against adding any weapons and that I don't think weapon repairs should be a thing even though I never mentioned it once in my original argument.    this convo was doomed from the start.
    • I like the idea of expanding the psychological side of survival, but I'd rather see paranoia develop from long-term isolation, extreme stress, lack of sleep, or repeated traumatic events instead of being attached mainly to sadness. The hallucination concept could add a lot of tension if it happens gradually, making players second-guess whether they actually heard a zombie nearby. A psychiatrist coral springs would probably point out that different mental health symptoms can have very different causes, so separating them into distinct mechanics could make the system feel more realistic.

    • Version: [42.19] Mode: [Singleplayer] Server settings: [N/A] Mods: [Horse mod] Save: [New Save]   I've got new animals being "stuck" behaviors in my latest game. Nearly 4 months in so I can be positive on the reproduction being stuck I think.   1/ Animals won't reproduce. Chicken do lay eggs, everyone poop, but no fertilized eggs. Rabbits neither, no one gets pregnant. And my cow and bull doesn't get involved neither (no pregnancy, no milk). I've moved them a couple times, deleted/redone the zones... moved myself near them, but nothing so far. (is it possible the "everyone is female" remain in some form?)   2/ I noticed a second weird thing with my bull. This one live further from my base. Last time I visited, he was dying of thirst and sickly. The cow was thirsty and hungry. It's not even when I showed up I think, it's when I saw them (like when we turn around we don't see them anymor,e like zombies) and the game actually displayed their 3D model. Then, both of them has gone for the water, and then the cow has gone for some grass. Bull remain sickly after a couple days tho
    • Honestly I think the game doesn’t even need hundreds of guns, it just needs the missing categories filled properly. SMGs are the biggest missing piece right now and an MP5-style gun just makes too much sense for the setting. Police/SWAT in the early 90s without something MP5-inspired feels weird honestly.   But more importantly, guns need to stop feeling disposable. Finding a rare weapon should feel exciting, not like “cool this thing will break in 2 runs.” A proper repair/maintenance system would do more for the firearm gameplay than adding 50 random guns ever could.
