    • I think everything would be fine but not the last part, killing or being killed. Socially thats already seen as wrong and pure taboo, so i dont think any game would want to get such callouts. Personally i also struggle with morality, seeing differences of whats wrong from right and just having an indifference but im trying to relate with the common folk here. So, im not the right person to be asking such questions as i'd have to assume a simple answer being:   Either kids are added but under strict regulations, where they're implemented, whats happening to them or can happen, cant be killed etc. OR No kids at all. I dont know any other game besides Ready Or Not that had a child character before the 1.0 release which could be killed by the player, and the game raised praised for it but later talked badly upon when the censorship update came and you no longer could kill the kid. And i dont know if that was just an exception for the game, or something people seem to want more of nowadays, less censorship.   if we look at the state of the world IRL, i'd have to assume the latter. But, thats just my take.
    • Looks like it really was the case. For my 600 played hours there was number 50 in inventory encumbrance, mid game it became 20 somehow and I could not pick up more than 20. That's why I created this post. I was grinding blacksmithing from 9 to 10 and suddenly I wasn't even able to pick up all materials and tools to craft 1 instance without taking off my equipment. After first reinstall I checked again and I still couldn't pick up more than 20. Now it still shows 20, but i can pick up to 50, I just didn't check it second time. Looks like second reinstall fixed the problem. I was just expecting the number to became 50 again, but if you say that it is how it meant to be then there is no problem anymore. Returned my save back to folder, subscribed to my mods, everything seems fine. TYSM
    • Can you go in to device manager and disable the mics you don't wish to use?
    • Yeah would love when the devs work a bit on the graphics. The Wind Sprites are also pretty bad and overall enviroment and flora could need a bit more fluff.  Tree Sprites look very outdated now.
    • Hello developers, My name is Lieverton, and I am a blind player and content creator from Brazil. I would like to share an accessibility suggestion for Project Zomboid. Recently, I discovered videos from a Brazilian player called Blind Kombat. He has only about 5% vision and managed to create an accessibility mod that allows him to play Project Zomboid. Watching his videos was very interesting because they showed something important: Project Zomboid can be accessible to blind and visually impaired players. What impressed me most is that this was achieved by a player using a mod. It is not an official feature, and because of that it can have limitations, compatibility issues, bugs, and may stop working after updates. Even so, it proves that accessibility in Project Zomboid is possible. I also think his work demonstrates an important point that is often misunderstood: Accessibility is not the same as giving players an advantage. For example, if he wants to know the time, he still needs to find and equip a watch just like any other player. The accessibility tools do not bypass gameplay mechanics or reveal information that has not been earned. They simply provide access to information that sighted players already receive visually. The goal is not automation. The goal is access. Blind players do not want the game to play itself for us. We do not want automatic combat, automatic navigation, automatic looting, or anything that would remove the challenge of survival. What we need is access to information and menus. Many blind players do not use a mouse and instead rely heavily on keyboards, screen readers, audio feedback, and keyboard shortcuts. Because of this, features such as the following could make a huge difference: •  Full keyboard navigation throughout menus and interfaces. •  Text-to-speech support for menus and inventory. •  Spoken item names while navigating inventory. •  Spoken information about character status, injuries, hunger, thirst, fatigue, moodles, skills, and other important information. •  Audio feedback when selecting or highlighting objects. •  Optional audio cues to help identify nearby interactable objects. •  Accessibility shortcuts that quickly provide information about the character and surroundings. These features would not remove the challenge of the game. They would simply allow blind players to access the same information that sighted players receive through the screen. Games such as The Last of Us Part II have shown that accessibility features can allow blind players to enjoy complex games without compromising the intended gameplay experience. I believe there are many blind and visually impaired gamers around the world who would love the opportunity to experience Project Zomboid. Here in Brazil alone, there is a growing community of blind gamers constantly looking for more accessible games. Project Zomboid already has one of the most immersive sound environments I have ever experienced in a game. Because of that, I genuinely believe it has the potential to become one of the most accessible survival games for blind players in the future. If one player was able to create a working accessibility mod with limited tools, imagine what could be achieved by the developers themselves with full access to the game's systems. Thank you for your time, and thank you for creating such an incredible game.
