I just made a batch of muffins.  I then tried to "Get Muffins".  I get an empty muffin tin, but no actual muffins appear and the tin with the baked muffins remains in inventory.  Only thing that changes was the "Hunger" level dropped by a couple of points.

Not tested the house alarm.   I can confirm it's not just watch bags though, but Zomboid sounds too.   My guess is that sounds in general coming from the south-southeast quadrant relative to the player character's circle of hearing have an incorrect attenuation/volume.
