Hello, survivors!
I've noticed that multiplayer players, especially on PvP servers, make up a huge part of the Project Zomboid community. The high value of survival and the risk of losing your loot make PvP incredibly exciting, and it's great to see the developers moving in this direction. The new long-distance gunshot and vehicle sounds have already made PvP feel much more immersive.
I'd love to see further development of base raiding mechanics. For example, walls and doors could have different durability values depending on their material, and players could breach bases using explosives or sustained gunfire. Additional locks, such as key or code locks, could allow servers to disable safehouse protection while still giving players ways to build and defend their bases.
This would create a meaningful resource investment for raiders, requiring them to gather materials, craft explosives, and plan their attacks. I think a system like this would greatly improve PvP gameplay and attract even more players from games like DayZ who enjoy high-risk, high-reward survival experiences. I'd also love to see a future rework of armor and helmets to make their protection feel a bit more realistic.
Thank you, developers, for all your hard work!❤️
