First of all, I understand that as a game still in the test version, the PZ team don't make much profit from the current updates. I'm also very glad that you are still persisting in the updates! But I can't understand that every update is something that players don't want to see or simply don't care about at all! If you have financial difficulties, you can definitely sell DLC. I believe players can accept it! But please don't blindly update without considering the demands of players! The following points are the contents that players are extremely disgusted by in B42, but you have been slow to make changes. The issue of perspective in architecture Please tell me, am I playing a game or using the map tool to build? Completely lost the sense of immersion! Although some people joke that the perspective of B41 is not very ideal, at least the perspective of the built-in buildings in the system is still recognized. As a hardcore zombie game, it's hard for me to imagine that there would be a character with such a strong memory who could remember the layout of having been to all the places. I simply can't understand why you would modify it! Just keep it like B41, or use it as an optional sandbox setting. This is the system building perspective of version B41. Areas blocked by walls cannot be seen, and this is a reasonable situation. I'm a survivor surviving in the end times, not a master builder with a God 's-eye view! Visual issues of self-built houses by players In this case, I can fully understand that the wall below is hidden. Because it covers the character! OK. No problem. Then please tell me what this is? I simply can't understand why the wall above the character is hidden, and also why I can still see the outside view in this confined space? Does the Kentucky God of War come with X-ray vision? Of course, these are just the most prominent manifestations of perspective issues. There are many other minor problems, such as the roof being directly hidden and invisible on the second floor or above... The ballistic problem of firearms Allow me to use a foul word: The B42 version of the shotgun's trajectory is just a pile of crap! Of course, I don't usually play other firearms, so I can't comment on their trajectories. But it seems that other firearms are still playable. What I'm talking about is this shotgun's trajectory. Have you guys even played the game? Try playing with the B42 version of the shotgun and see! I don't understand why you are so obsessed with realism. This is a game, not reality! If you want realism, do you think it's reasonable to have furniture in your backpack? Do you think it's reasonable for the character to run fast with 50 kilograms of goods? I think it's reasonable because this is a game, and it's what players want, so it's reasonable! The B41 version of the shotgun's trajectory was already very good. I don't understand why you had to change it? The current version is very awkward. The original trajectory shotgun is basically unplayable, and with the advanced trajectory MOD, it directly divides the number of hits by 2. And your JS2000's default hit count is 9, which means it can hit 4 or 5 at once! Such an easily obtainable shotgun is so powerful and yet so boring. This will also make the authors of shotgun MODs lose their enthusiasm for making shotguns. Then it leads to shotguns becoming less and less interesting to play. But many people just don't like the need to reload magazines when playing other firearms. The issue with original material This is your official material. Since the update of B42, all wall-type and door materials can only display part of the wall area, and other materials can only display the middle area of 128x256. Maybe you think it doesn't matter, but this is a devastating blow to MOD authors. You can go and check the existing MOD maps. Many MOD self-made materials are made to look like they are broken by this bug, which has severely undermined the confidence of most MOD map authors (in our domestic China, there is a MOD map author group, and we have all discussed this matter). As for the material bug and the handling of semi-transparent materials, as long as there are semi-transparent pixels in the material, they will be like this after stacking, or they will become pitch black when appearing on the surface of the river water. The zombie spawning issue in B42 Firstly, regarding the monster spawning in the ground area of the MOD map, the spawning is controlled by color. In B41, even if the entire image was painted white, it was only very difficult but still playable. However, in B42, you have made it completely unreasonable. 0,0,0 having no monsters is fine, 1,1,1 having a small number of monsters is also fine, and 2,2,2 still having a gradually increasing small number of monsters is fine. But from 3,3,3, the number of monsters starts to increase significantly, and from 4,4,4, it increases geometrically. At 5,5,5, the difficulty explodes, and at 6,6,6 and above, it becomes completely unplayable! This is not the main point. The main point is that since 6 is already too many to play, what about 255,255,255? Is it just for show? Why make the monster spawning range so unreasonable? This way, MOD authors can't control the number of zombies in their maps! Then there's the monster spawning inside buildings. I think this is a positive change. It ensures that large multi-room buildings will become monster dens, which is very reasonable and I like this setting. But the problem is that when players are on the 0th floor, they only spawn monsters from -1, 0, and 1 floors. This is very unreasonable! If you are considering performance issues, you could introduce a setting in the options for players to choose how many floors to spawn monsters on instead of forcing all players to spawn only the floors above and below. The issue with the recipe When B41 was released, many players reported that right-clicking was laggy. This was not to have all operations moved into the recipe UI, but to solve the problems that caused the lag! The recipe system in B42 is undoubtedly a failure. Not only is it cumbersome to operate, but new players simply can't understand it. With so many things, how can I find what I want? Wasn't the original intention of making this game to follow realistic logic? If I want to make a campfire with a stone, wouldn't a normal player right-click the stone? Do you think a new player can think of making a campfire in the recipe UI with a stone? Then there was such a comment on Chinese social media: For instance, if I want to eat an apple now, the system prompts me that I have to peel it first. To peel it, I need a knife, but I have to make the knife myself. To make the knife, I need to master forging and craftsmanship skills. To learn these two skills, I have to go on an adventure to find books in the library, and then spend time and energy practicing. But the above process could have been simplified to just eating the apple with the skin on. This is the feeling that B42's recipe system gives people. Support issue for Simplified Chinese Although some dedicated authors of the Creative Workshop have already provided translations for you, whether there is official Simplified Chinese support is a matter of respect! Now, even without installing the Simplified Chinese version to fix the MOD, there are problems with the display of the main interface. Although I have officially promised to update the Chinese localization in the first quarter of 2025, it has not been realized yet. The following are the commonly used community translation and localization patch links on the Chinese PZ community. I hope you can refer to their work achievements more when updating the localization. https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=3386522562 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3386702953 https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=3388550747
