Bug: Meshes remember rotation and offset when first loaded

In vanilla itself this might not be a problem, since meshes in there are always used with the same values. Problem is, when I try to make a mod that makes the items stand up. Example: I have a lying broom and a standing broom, both use the broom mesh. I place the lying broom first, it lies. I place the standing broom second, it lies. I pick up the lying broom, so only the standing broom is remaining (it still is lying though).

I reload the save, and the previously lying "standing broom" is now properly standing. I want to place the lying broom - it now is standing.

 

Crazy thing is: While still during placement, when you drag items around with the mouse, they are displayed with their correct offsets and rotations. Only when actually clicking and placing them, they use the wrong ones. 

 

For some reason the mods moved me here instead of Bug Reports. I still hope that some Indie-Stone guys read this and have an idea on how to fix this <3
