Pick up and equip rather than just 'Grab'

It would be really nice to be able to right-click on a bag that is on the floor and have the option to put it on your back straight away, rather than clicking 'Grab' then finding it in your inventory, then putting it on your back.

That's actually how it already works? You find a bag and right-click it in the "floor inventory" and choose "equip on back". Or have I misunderstood what you were saying?

I think what they mean is that there is no way to "only equip" - currently, the bag is first taken into the inventory and then equipped to the right slot. That prevents you from equipping some containers you could wear because they're too heavy when not equipped.

Oh... hmmm is that so? I didn't know that. Thanks for the info! =) Seems I always had a little space left so I didn't even notice

In my experience, if I’ve dropped my bag on the floor, when I right-click it I don’t have the option to equip on back. I can only grab it, that picks it up and puts it in my inventory and I then have to find it in there and then put it on my back.

 

oh I think if you click on it in the item list on the floor inventory you can choose equip to back. But not if you just right click the bag itself in the game word. That’s where I’d like the option

 

i could go into the ‘floor inventory’ but it’s less steps to just right click the bag.
