thiosk Posted March 8, 2014 Share Posted March 8, 2014 Do floors need support? The key question is, could one in principle build an infinitely long walkway unsupported by underlying structure? What are the limitations to unsupported structures? I have a third floor overhang, and its rather annoying to put columns up because I can't build a 2 level post without having a floor on the second level adjacent to the post site.
