Repair boots, firefighter pants and improvised clothing armour

Hi,

 

Simple request.  Repair boots and firefighter pants with duct tape.  Its quick and easy in the real world.  Not idea but it works.  Could be similar to clothing with a hole where you can put a patch over the hole but its not as good.  Still makes these items high value, but removes the ridiculus issue of not being able to repair them using easily availible and logical materials in game.

 

On another thought, it would be good to be able to add improvised armour to jackets and pants.  Magazine plus some duct tape or adhesive tape on the forearms and shins.  This would make duct tape even higher value and would fix the issue of the shins being hard to armour without mods.  This idea is quite flexible, as it should be possible to use a some cutlery and duct tape on the forearms and shins to make even better improvised armour.  5 or 6 spoons or forks taped to your jacket sleeve would slow down a zombie trying to bite through. 

 

A last variation would be taping broken glass or gravel to the jacket/pants.  This would add similar layers of protection with more flexibility but would require foraging or breaking bottles or windows to gather the resources.
