You should be able to see what time it is when you're in a running car even if you don't have a watch.

Excluding the truly ancient cars and some home made/modified stuff I don't think I've ever seen a car that didn't have a factory included radio with the time on it. Perhaps the spot where the watch shows it could be replaced with a little radio display and perhaps options to tune the radio.

This is a very logical desire to have a watch in the car.

But even if this is not implemented, it seems to me that no one will be particularly upset. There are already many hours in the game world.
