Hello fellow survivors,

World War Z is a PvE server with a goal - to reclaim the world from the zombie menace! It's currently year 6, and the world is far from reclaimed other than a few beacons of safety in the apocalypse. If that doesn't interest you and you just want to enjoy the zomboid experience on a friendly server with a balanced economy, World War Z might be for you. We are especially welcoming to new players! If you barely know anything about the game, just spawn in Muldraugh and come to the Sunstar Motel where veteran players have set up a communal base. Or, if you're looking for more of a challenge, strike off into the world and reclaim some small corner of it from the zombies yourself! You'll often come across abandoned former player bases overrun by zombies to take over (or loot ), or you can create a whole new one yourself.

Some more details about the server:

-100% vanilla, no mods. Up 24/7 with a daily restart

-Whitelisted to cut down on griefers 98%

-Loot respawns but is set to extremely rare for balance.

-Zombies respawn, with a long timer on seen chunks. Regular player presence will keep clear areas clear, otherwise they refill with zombies

-Safehouses enabled, expire after 6 days IRL

-13x XP multiplier to lessen the grind but not eliminate it

-High population, tough, dumb, fast shambler zombies

-Zombie virus transmission by bites only

-Fire disabled so every town is not burned down

-Helicopter event somtimes

-Community bases in each town, Sunstar Motel in Muldraugh being the most trafficked

-Server events

-Once the server hits 10 years in-game, we will be downloading the map and making it available to the community to use. So your constructions will live forever as people download the map and explore the post-apocalyptic world we built together
