[41.66] Linux version stays under the Taskbar when on Borderless Windowed mode

Whenever I try to play PZ in Borderless Windowed mode, it fails to hide the taskbar, which stays overlayed on top of the game. 
Other games successfully hide the taskbar, which points towards the issue not being caused by the taskbar itself.

Regular fullscreen mode succesfully hides the taskbar, but the game goes to the leftmost monitor, even though in the OS settings, I've set the right monitor as my Primary Display.

Distro: Pop!_OS 21.10 (64 bit) 
Shell: GNOME 40.4.0
Windowing System: X11

I have this same problem with the taskbar in 64bit Arch Linux, using X11 KDE
I don't have the problem you have with going fullscreen.
I'll let you know if I find a solution so you can try it but I'm in the same boat right now

Same problem here on Ubuntu 20.04. Problem occurs in Borderless Windowed mode but not in Fullscreen mode.
