MeShugar
Hello, sugars! It's MeShugar! Writing you from cold Russia. Wanna say big thanks for the new patch and city, it's freaking colossal, dude! Me and my group found very magnificent place - the winery near the shoreline of Louisville, very very good spot. We wanted to play RP, and make a good place for the living, make fancy interior and all, but faced a problem. When we moved in, a lot of glasses and doors was already broken. I know that I can replace windows, destroy walls, and make doors, but as I know these glasses technically walls, and it means there is no chance to fix the glass. I would like to make some kind of a mod or ability to rebuild that, but without proper knowledge it's impossible for me. Dear devs or maybe modders. Please, can you help us with that little problem? P.S Sorry for my bEd England. Regards, the lover of Project Zomboid. Edited December 25, 2021 by MeShugar
Papa Juliet Whiskey
You can remove intact windows with crowbars and place them over broken ones. I would assume they would include these 'wall windows'. I know the character still uses the jump animation to climb through those bigger windows, but to be honest, never tried replacing them myself, so can't 100% confirm at this moment. Thanks for the reply buddy, I know I can remove unbroken windows, but only the small ones. You can't do that to these types of windows, no such an option, because it is technically walls. Papa Juliet Whiskey
Bummer. Something I never really experimented with. They always felt like window tiles, but I guess that's the jump animation you get when hopping through a busted window wall. Most of my understanding of the mechanics are learned in game through gameplay, so by default comes with assumptions that may not always be right...
