Help with a chat related mod

Okay so i have An idea for a really Niche mod.

 

Essentially I use a speech to text application on my computer. This allows me to quickly speak in game and is actually very accurate.

 

I am actually using the software to write this post.

So here's my problem, by using speech-to-Text I can quickly speak and I want to use the ability it affords me to talk while moving and also while just playing the game overall. Unfortunately whenever I do an action In game I find that the speech box will either register a key press or its will exit the box For typing.

 

I want to be able to access the chat box and also control my character without a conflict.

 this problem does seem difficult to solve But I am hoping someone with some experience can give me a hand and pointing me in the right direction.

I hope I was somewhat clear here it's a problem that is hard to describe for me. Thank you
