Lost PZ account

Hey there, I seem to have lost my Project Zomboid account, so I can't activate it on Desura, I didn't realize you guys changed so much since I last checked in on this game!

 

Could someone explain to me how I get my account back so I can activate my game on Steam?

 

I've seen the key retrieval page, but I don't remember my password and there's no "forgot password" form for old PZ accounts...

I don't have a proof of purchase (I guess I lost it some months ago when I cleaned out my email), but I do have the email address, can I just send them that and start working on verification from there? (I can even send photo ID or anything else)

If you've bought it via Google Checkout you should be able to pull the receipt off of it.
In any case, the peeps will tell you what they need to sort you out
