Water bottles not drinkable

I seem to be having a strange quirk with my store of bottled water. I have many bottles of water stashed up, but recently I noticed that I can't drink them anymore. Water in any bottle form no longer has the option to drink for me anymore. It isn't tainted and it isn't a case of my survivor isn't thirsty (Even dehydrated, the option persists to not be available). I've tried refilling them but if I try from my rain barrels the water is tainted and I can't sterilize them in a campfire. I've been drinking orange soda but my stock of those is much smaller. Has anyone else had this issue occur or is it just my game?

Any containers with pure water will automatically be drank from if in your main inventory.

Tested this and happy to see my little dude is keeping himself hydrated without my supervision  guessing this is a newer thing I didn't know about
