SalSevenSix
So I have a server setup that is running fine with a few Mods, all which are in the Workshop. The server is a Steam server, installed using SteamCMD. Mods have been copied to the ~/Zomboid/mods folder. However people need to manually subscribe/download the mods in order to join the server. From my experience on other servers they should automatically download. If I remove the mods from the folder, the server output tells me the mods listed in the ini file cannot be found. What am I doing wrong? Edited January 17, 2017 by SalSevenSix
GoodOldLeon
I never used steamcmd, but I know 2 ways of doing this: for mods to download they have to either be added to the "Steam Workshop" tab of the server settings in game, or have the mods workshop ID manually added to the "WorkshopItems=" line of the server's *.ini file (usually located in C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\Zomboid\Server). Edit: just to be clear, the steam workshop ID is the number on the url, not the mod ID. Edited January 17, 2017 by TheLeonBM
SalSevenSix
Gha, my WorkshopItems is empty. That's probably it. I'll give it a try and see what happens. EDIT: Yep -- that fixed it. Thanks! Edited January 17, 2017 by SalSevenSix update
