Black screen on loard

Hi all,

 

I just bought the game on Steam and am excited to try it out! However, when I launch it shows a few status updates ("Loading Lua", etc...) and then goes black. Music plays, but nothing shows up.

 

I've tried to search for answers but everythign I find seems to be 2 years out of date. I'm on a Mac, bought the game on Steam.

Heya Voytekg,

 

First thing to try would probably be turning off the Steam overlay for PZ. You can do that by right clicking the game in your library, selecting properties, and unchecking the box for it. If that doesn't work let me know and we'll go from there.
