I'm going to call this an 'aspect ratio' issue but truthfully I don't know for certain. The problem started when I started using my new monitor which has a greater resolution.
I reported this some time ago but it's only (with other games) that I've come to find what the solution is.
In the simplest terms:
1. Open the PZ folder location.
2. Right click and select properties for the 32 or 64bit batch file. I'm not certain how settings are changed for the executable. You may need administrative privileges to do this.
3. Select the compatability tab and then make sure the 'disable display scaling for high DPI settings'

It worked for me after this. Hopefully it should for you too. I also hope this is in some way helpful to the dev's too.
Edit: I also copy a shortcut to my desktop as it will require you use that batch file.
