That folder does not exist, I forced another install directory, but I assure you, I know my way around SteamCMD and I am checking the correct directory. Edit: I am using putty to check the directory, since that will show me excactly what files exist and what doesn't. As was stated in OP winscp doesn't always refresh properly. If it's validating, you've gotta have that file! Run: find / -name "projectzomboid-dedi-server.sh" that will take some time to complete, but if that file is anywhere on your system, it'll find it. It'll also print a load of warnings, ignore them. Oh wow, so even though i forced another install directory, it's still installed under steamapps/common. Oh well, thanks for saving me another full day of running the update script
