when are you going to add images to the items, like the bolts, the arrows, the homemade arrows, stones, the ducttape and teh weapons, crossbow, bow and the homemade bow?

 

i mean, are you going to be adding those sometime?

 

I am working on the images on the weekends due to work, and I may have something to show this weekend if I dont have to work a full day on Friday or work on Saturday.

I have started to work on some of the sprites and I got to thinking it wouold be kinda cool to be able to mod the weapons with things like lights, optics (scopes/sights) to improve acuracy, silencers to muffle the sound, and grips/bipods to improve weapon handling/stability.

Then I got to thinking that weapons degrade over time and need to be maintained so I was thinking that a guncleaning/gunsmithing kit could be used to maintain and repare the weapons.

 

This is all of course up to Austin as he is the one coding it, I just make pritty pictures..

I am going to be doing some sprite work for several mods and I need to know what the dimenions for indiveidual sprites can be. From looking at what is available in the Steam PZ directory and in my pre-Steam release directory I think the maximum size I can work with is 34 pixels by 32 pixels for inventory objects. I just need some confermation before I start working on any sprites.

as I stated in your guns mod thread, I can also make some sprites for you to use with this mod as well while I am working on the guns for the other mod.

Some sprites I have been working on. All are edited vanilla sprites.

 

Love the sprite edits, if you would like I can try and make up some custom sprites for you, also is it me or dose the green tomato kinda look like it has a creeper face on it, just a thought.

Sent some smaples of what I have worked on. If I can get the images used in game for the pistol and shotguns I will be able to make properly scaled sprites for the weapons using those as a size guide.

I plan on changing out the images that currently being used with something that is more inline with the graphical feel of PZ, and once I am happy with them and know that they are usable in game, if you like I can post them here for you to see and use if you would like.

 

Love the mod BTW, and would it be possable to have different MRE's such as Meatloaf, Chili-mac, Pork Riblet, or Maple Sausage?

If you need any sprites made, I would be willing to make some for you as I have plenty of experiance with isometric pixel art from working on content for another game. If you would like I can send you some samples of what I have made for a project for said game via PM as I dont want to seem like I am trying advertise for another game on the fourms.
