  1. If it happens again, can you share your logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid? This way we can check the game logs to see if there would be any errors if it happens again.
  2. Sprinters are currently not enabled in Multiplayer, meaning they will always revert from Sprinters to a lower speed.
  3. Are there any problems starting with the alternate launch option? The option is there in case the normal option works, for example your PC may block the game .exe file which would prevent it from starting it. The alternative launch simply launches a different file to make the game work normally.
  4. Windows generally does not cause any issues no. In that case can you make sure to have the necessary ports opened through the firewall? 16261 and 8766 are the main ones:
  5. Can you share the console.txt file when connecting to the server as well? Since there doesnt seem to be anything wrong with the server console.
  6. In that case do you have any antivirus or anything else on your PC that might affect the network? Some of the apps can cause issues when hosting servers for example.
  7. How is the server hosted exactly and what are the StartServer64.bat settings? Meaning how much maximium RAM did you assign to the server?
  8. Based on the logs it seems like the issue might be with the actual server name as it might have issues reading special characters. Can you just name the server setting "servertest" as it is by default and try hosting it like that?
  9. By "create a new one" do you mean that you are trying to load a second server at the same time as the other server? Or that you deleted the old map and started the server again?
  10. Have you tested this on a brand new save? You mentioned turning off but was this a new save as well? Additionally, how much RAM is assigned to the server?
  11. I think you would get the same answer in that case, I would need the logs.
  12. Does this happen to every single vehicle he enters? Have you tried relogging from the server to check if the car shows up again?
  13. That's good to know, in that case can you share your logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?
  14. Yes I understand that, I was just asking if it happens when joining any other random public server, and not your server specifically. This is to check for any general connection issues.
  15. Based on the logs there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the game specifically, though I am being suspicious since in every log you have loaded some kind of mod. I would recommend doing this, go to your Zomboid folder (the one you got the logs from) and delete the "mods" folder there to completely prevent mods loading at game start. After that, try enabling only the cheat menu or necroforge mod, no other mod, don't even enable any mod managers or such. This will help in testing. Now start a new game and try replicating the issue, you can use the mods to spawn vehicles. Alternatively you can remove all the mods and start a new game with "Easy Vehicles" turned on, meaning every car should have a key so you can do a quick test that way.
  16. Thanks, it does eventually run out of RAM as a 32 bit version would, though it does show that it is properly saving the logs into your User folder, are you sure you navigated to the correct folder? Since if the Zomboid folder would be empty it would mean that your saves would not be saved at all, and neither would your settings or anything else. The fact that you most likely still have saves means that the Zomboid folder is saving correctly somewhere. Other than that the game looks totally fine, do these black borders only happen while driving? Edit: Based on the logs it also seems like you only have 6GB free on your main C drive, where Project Zomboid saves the save files.. which might not be good if it eventually fills up. You can try moving the whole save and settings folder by going to your Steam Library > Right click Project Zomboid > Properties > Set Launch Options > Type -cachedir=F:\Zomboid > Start the game
  17. Thats unusual, can you try going to “Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid” and run the “ProjectZomboid32.bat” file? After the game loads or fails to load, can you send screenshots of the console window that shows up?
  18. It seems like based on the game logs the game launches perfectly fine and it launches in Steam mode, so that's fine as well. The only issue there is is that your PC is using the wrong graphics card for the game, which would explain why you feel like the game is lagging. I recommend checking these guides on how to make sure that the game uses the correct graphics card: https://pureinfotech.com/set-gpu-app-windows-10/ https://support.serato.com/hc/en-us/articles/202305784-Changing-graphics-card-settings-to-use-your-dedicated-GPU-on-a-Windows-computer-
  19. Hm, can you share your logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid? This way we can check the game logs for any issues in the game specifically that might cause this problem.
  20. Generally this should never happen in singleplayer. The only cases it might happen is either if you have a very slow hard drive on your C drive. Or if you have an antivirus that for some reason blocks the game from streaming the map properly. Would either of be the case for you?
  21. Well as mentioned, does it happen with any server?
  22. This is on a server correct? Have you assigned enough RAM to it? Generally we recommend around 4GB
  23. There is no documentation for that. You can check EnigmaGrey's answer here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/108600/discussions/1/3452591533719963272/
  24. Can you share your console.txt file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?
