  1. If you have issues with mods, try disabling them one by one or in batches to figure out which specific mod is causing the problems. Do it on a new save to prevent any issues on your current playthrough, as removing mods can cause items to be permanently deleted.
  2. This generally means that there is a resolution problem, can you navigate to the Options menu and try setting the game to Borderless display mode?
  3. Can you share your logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?
  4. As far as I can see, it seems like you have one of the latest bugs that affects certain players while hosting coop games. We do not have a fix for it at the moment. Though you may try deleting the "Server" and "mods" folders in your Zomboid folder. After that, try hosting a new server with the default servertest name and see if that loads.
  5. Not sure I can really help in that case without knowing the exact error your friend is getting, as it may be a specific error message or just a generic connections loss.

    Bug

Can you share your logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?
  7. Can you share a screenshot of the exact error message your friend received?
  8. Can you try using the "Alternate launch" option when launching the game through Steam and see if that helps you load into the game?
  9. No that would be incorrect. I would need the logs.zip file in the Zomboid folder. Not the whole folder. You can see the file right below the folder you mentioned.
  10. Do you have any mods enabled perhaps?
  11. Here are some basic guides on how to navigate to the Zomboid folder: https://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000109.htm https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLiz7fOa7l4 Do you see the Zomboid folder there in the User folder?
  12. If you forwarded the ports, but the server is still not showing up. You may need to contact your internet service provider to see if they are forwarding the ports to your router. Because if they are not then the server would not be able to be hosted publicly.
  13. If that is the case, can you share your logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?
  14. You can fix that by navigating to the "media" folder as shown in the screenshot, then delete the "lua" folder found there and then verify your game files. Steam Library > Right-click Project Zomboid > Properties > Local Files > Verify Local Files If the issue persists, it would mean that the problem is on the server instead with your files, and the server owner would need to reinstall / verify the files the same way.
  15. Can you share a screenshot of the error when you can? So we can know exactly what the issue is.
  16. Can you check if your keyboard has ghosting issues? https://www.microsoft.com/applied-sciences/projects/anti-ghosting-demo
  17. Seems like there may be a Java memory misconfiguration. Can you try using the "Alternate launch" option when launching the game through Steam and see if you can load into the game after that?
  18. If you have an AMD graphics card, then the recent driver for it is causing issues in OpenGL games such as Project Zomboid. I recommend updating your drivers to the latest driver version from the AMD website: https://www.amd.com/en/support

  22. So it is specifically the water corners correct? We will look into it in that case, as this would be considered more of a bug. So I cannot really suggest a fix at the moment.
  23. A screenshot of the area + coordinates of it would be useful so we can investigate it, you can see the whole map on https://map.projectzomboid.com/ Additionally, information whether you are using mods would be useful.
