  1. Thanks, it would seem like your issue would be related to some weird Environment Variables for your Java. https://docs.oracle.com/en/database/oracle/machine-learning/oml4r/1.5.1/oread/creating-and-modifying-environment-variables-on-windows.html Could you try checking your Variables and remove any that would say -Xmx? As that would set a limit to the Java, usually some Minecraft mods / Server setups seem to force this, which would cause major issues in games like PZ.
  2. Well at the end it does show "06.07 04:17:21 [Multicraft] Auto-saving world..." I am not sure how they auto save it, are you able to disable the auto save function as a test? It seems to hang right after loading the mods. You can also just try adding the mods one by one instead of all of them.
  3. Could you check the Windows reliability monitor and find the game failing to load there? If you do, can you share a screenshot of the technical details of the game there? https://www.howtogeek.com/school/using-windows-admin-tools-like-a-pro/lesson3/ https://www.dell.com/support/kbdoc/sk-sk/000178177/how-to-use-windows-reliability-monitor-to-identify-software-issues
  4. Can you share the whole console.txt file here?
  5. Hm, I would probably recommend just taking the config file that the server has created, then add the mods to it and then start it. Again not touching any other settings except the mods for testing purposes. I would recommend just manually adding the Workshop / Mod IDs in the text file.
  6. Does the server itself work when you do not create any config file either? Just let the server create everything it needs, default settings and see if you can connect to that.
  7. Not at the moment as far as I know, the command + horde manager are the only built in zombie spawn options.

    map zone type problems

You may try a few things, but I have low confidence in them working, since we do not know how badly the map was corrupted due to the usage of the tool you mentioned. 1. Delete the files on your client side, meaning the Saves/Multiplayer/ServerIP folder on your PC 2. Delete the map_t.bin file on the server 3. Find the specific chunks of the area in question and delete them manually as shown here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2547762158

    map zone type problems

It is possible that some corruption happened due to the deletion of the map files. Try first backing up the map and then delete the "map_meta.bin" file located in the Save folder and see if that helps.
  10. As mentioned, it would be very unlikely that the PZ server is the issue. But generally you would find more info in the home/Zomboid folder in the server-console.txt file I would possibly recommend contacting your internet service provider to make sure that there is not an issue on their side or blocking from them either.
  11. Are either of you playing on a Wifi perhaps? As generally it would not be recommended due to the instability of it when hosting servers.
  12. Generally disconnections can either happen due to severe mod issues, server issues (such as low RAM or CPU speed) or they mostly can happen due to network issues. This would depend on how your network is set up, if you have any firewall or router rules that might block or cause issues with the server, or if the network itself is not stable enough (if the PC is connected through a Wifi for example)
  13. I am sure any image editor would do, GIMP would be a popular alternative for advanced editing?
  14. Gog / Nonsteam versions use direct connections between computers. Meaning if there is any issue connecting, it would be specifically caused due to issues on those networks. I would first recommend testing if you are able to find any other servers and test the direct connection to them. Alternatively, you try hosting and see if the same issue happens if your friend tries to connect to you.
  15. I would likely suggest not using any other mods than just those two, since in the log you send you already loaded some Toady Traits and mod manager mods. I would recommend just disabling all mods and then retrying?
  16. I do not have much knowledge in mapping, but I am certain it would not support any PSD files. You would need to export the file as a .png for example, or whatever the default used format would be for the editor (likely .png or .jpg)
  17. Try going to “Steam\steamapps\common\ProjectZomboid” and delete the “steamapps” folder found there. After that, unsubscribe from all your mods from Steam and restart the Steam Client. Then launch the server again and let it initialize to see if doing that helps, this would basically fully reinstall your mods.
  18. Are you able to connect to any other servers?
  19. Everything should be where you left it. Though as said, always make a backup in case of other issues.
  20. As far as I can tell, there seem to be some mod errors there. Try going to the Zomboid folder and delete both the "mods" and "lua" folders. After that, try starting a new server without any mods and just the default settings and see if it loads.
  21. Before doing any changes to the save, I recommend backing it up. After doing that, first create a new single player game with the exact same mods (if any). Then navigate to “C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid\Saves” find your specific save folder with errors. Then open the new game save folder that you created. From there, copy the “map_ver.bin” file and paste it into the save folder that has the error. That should fix the mod issue, if it does not then deleting the “map_t.bin” file could fix it as well, though this will cause issues with several other features, such as keeping track of time.

    Modding the Server

Make sure to enable them both in the Mods and Steam Workshop tabs in the server settings.
  23. Could you share share a screenshot of the menu in that case? That would be very unusual if it looked differently on your screen.
  24. The settings seem to be in order, can you explain what the issue is exactly? What happen when you teleport to the area where the map mods should be loaded?
  25. Hm, yeah this is unusual, it just seems to fail to create the Java VM, do you have enough RAM on your PC when trying to start the game? At least 4GB preferable, And have you tried reinstalling your game? As the logs you sent seem to be from the old 40 version of the game, while the latest one is 41.
