    Game crashes

Can you share your logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?
  2. The game does not inherently support HDR, nor AutoHDR, so when you load in it then your HDR gets turned off.
  3. Do you perhaps have AutoHDR or any other HDR settings turned on?
  4. I am not sure where that info is from. It would be very outdated information unless you have a very strict firewall where your ports would be blocked. TCP ports were not necessary to be opened since like 2015 if I remember correctly, and regardless, these tips are for the server owner, not players.
  5. PCs already have all outgoing ports open by default, so you do not need to do anything with your own ports.
  6. That would not be related to lag. Lag is specifically the amount of time it takes for the packets of the server to reach your own PC Here is a good simple explanation on Ping, which is your main issue, and not the game not having RAM: https://thegamingsetup.com/what-is-ping
  7. It would depend, you can try it, but if the Steam relay did not help in your case then it would be unlikely.

  9. That is possible, though I am not sure if I can specifically help with the mod other than recommending you remove all mods and test if the issues happen without them as well.
  10. Those messages seem very normal warning messages, not really issues. Are you having any problems when this shows up?
  11. If you had a closed port then you would not be able to connect at all, network performance has nothing to do with ports. Only way I can explain it is that either the server itself has issues handling the players, or alternatively your own network has issues synchronizing the information between all the players. Which would circle back to only the network provider being able to investigate the issue with the very high ping.
  12. It is not editable, deleting the zone file would likely cause the zones to reset, so for example if you built a house, then the room "inside" would be reset, and you would have to rebuild a single wall that encompasses the room to recreate it again. Otherwise it is possible that the construction information is saved in other files, as I have not personally tried fixing the specific issue that you are having, as most people keep the construction prevents loot respawn setting off.
  13. It would likely be held in the zoning file, map_zone.bin in the save folder.
  14. I can only recommend contacting your internet service provider about any network issues in that case. Since ping issues would purely just be related to the network and it having issues and not with the game itself.
  15. That would be unlikely, as the default connection is already a direct connection. No steam would have nothing to do with this. What you can try is using the Steam Relay, you can see it at the bottom right corner on the Main Menu > Join screen
  16. This is from experience, there is no specific documentation on it as far as I am aware. Deconstruction counts as construction Radius would be the whole building where the construction happened at and the chunk that affects it. A chunk is a 10x10 area, if you build in it and a house is in that area, then it would likely be affected From your description, you built inside of the chunk that contains the building.

  18. Well, if the server is now hosted in a different country, and the distance to the server is too large, your ping would be significantly higher due to that.
  19. Is that true for the "Recording" devices as well? Since both the Playback and Recording devices may cause issues if the refresh rate is wrong. I would also recommend lowering them to 16 bit modes. If you have any set to 24 bit or more then those may in some cases cause issues.
  20. Do you have lag spikes on other public servers?
  21. In that case, can you check all your sound devices, even disabled ones, in your sound control panel and make sure they all have either 41 000 or 48 000hz sampling rate set? https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/how-to-change-sound-control-panel-settings-in/5a70718b-7ecf-4547-a64a-22efda8da0c2
  22. Thanks, based on the logs there seem to be several audio errors. Try going to your Steam Library > Right click Project Zomboid > Properties > Set Launch Options > Type -novoip > Start the game If that does not help, can you try typing -nosound instead? This is to check if it is a sound related issue.
  23. If you cannot attach it to the message, you can instead use any file-sharing website of your choice or a temporary one like filetransfer.io for example to send it.
  24. Can you share your logs.zip file found in C:\Users\YourUserName\Zomboid?
  25. You are correct that Mods= is what controls the load order. The order you specified does not really need to be followed, the order only matters in the cases of mod conflicts. And the huge majority of time, there are no conflicts with mods. Meaning, the only time it really matters is when loading mods that modify other mods. For example if you have an addon to True Music, you have to load it after that.
