  1. AFAIK the ONLY way to get a Deep Wound is to climb through a broken window and get cut by glass without using the Remove Glass option first. After that it's use Tweezers/SNH > Remove Shards > Disinfect > Bandage. Other than that or probably by being shot at by another Human player in a MP server - I don't know any other way to get wounded that badly. Zeds at most cut you and that's it really.
  2. May I suggest the cabin with the well north of the Logging Industry?
  3. There is a recipe to convert Nail Gun Ammo into normal nails using a Pliers or a Hammer. Check your Crafting Book!
  4. It's gonna be funny the day they actually add bodily damage to the game and people end up with broken legs or sprained muscles or something. XD
  5. Just a tip guys: use the Spoiler tags when using long quotes or cut the quotes down please if you could? It's a page breaker when viewing the site on mobile sometimes which I do. Please please?
  6. ...say what. O_O YES. My dream of living near one of those houses in the woods is now coming up! I can finally be a hermit! XD Now to figure out what the rest of his devices do...XD
  7. -Last time I wore one out in the rain it didn't work for me lol, I'm note sure f this has been fixed or not. (Even the open umbrella didn't work for me either but ill need to try it again since its been awhile). Not 100% sure about Raincoats, but Rain Ponchos make it to where you don't get more than damp in the rain it seems. You're correct there but I think both items keep you at 'Damp' level and nothing more. Don't think there's much a difference because the Poncho is craftable just because of the times that you really CAN'T seem to find a Raincoat in a spawn or are just unlucky? Not sure if the Trait for not being affected by bad weather helps this but I don't think that being damp causes you any bad effects beside a small chance to get a cold really. Really is a nuisance if you have the traits to get sick easily and end up zombified JUST BECAUSE you caught a cold... DryTowels mod plus just keeping a Bath Towel on you should be fine anyway!
  8. I've had this issue as well, especially when applying the pouches and having it crush all the items IN the backpack/container as well. The apply-patches-have-to-relog seems to be constant. A lot of players on my server have had this issue recently. Not really gamebreaking TBH...just a minor irritation. Wait. That's what they do?! For realsies?! Please tell me that's what they do...XD I'll add in my contributions as well when I look. Good stuff! Most of the article is crafting materials though. -The other books are just for, well reading enjoyment for your character to relieve stress and, unhappiness. Note that SOME of the books are used in Blueprints now alongside the main crafting ones and recipe-learning ones as well. Anything that's named Field Guide/Textbook tends to be used for something else as well! Don't forget you can learn how to make Traps and Fishing implements as of the recent patches! Check your Crafting panel! ~ That being said: I'm curious about the addition of Showers and some of the new crafting items. Wonder what they do? Besides the Building menu from Carpentry, I really wonder if there's a way that we can turn a lot of these 'structures' that the mod adds into buildable units besides a deployable item to drop on the floor. I'd like to have a bit more...firmness and rigidity in my buildings where possible hopefully if the game's engine DOES allow such a thing and Hydro's team and the fans can help. Dunno how possible that is though I doubt because of the limitations of the art that's available. It's just weird in some aspect that a Mine is basically a movable hole-in-the-ground that can fit into my backpack. XD
  9. There's a way to make the Blueprints once you have an Archery Textbook in terms of the fletching and other forms of the arrows. See if you can find the book. It's in your recipe list by default.
  10. I've been building some articles on the side to update but from what I've heard - the admin of the main wiki isn't a fan of mod articles being added or updated. I haven't contacted them to see what the stance is on that right now.
  11. Sounds like just bad luck. Grass, Straw and Bark are level 0 items. Now that you unlocked more items, I am guessing you just have less of a chance to find them now that there are more items to find. Is there a way to add a recipe that unlocks as you level to search especially for one particular Forage product? Insert one to find Bark/Twigs/Berries etc as you level?
  12. Hmm, they re-appeared hours later in the campfire, I think after it went out and despite having been moved to my inventory. I also had one batch of cookies turn into 4 batches in a similar process so maybe there's an issue with the baking trays themselves? Did the baking trays replicate themselves as well? Did you lose any items besides them duplicating?
  13. Usually here is where I insert questions but I'm trying hard to see if I can find and understand some of the recipes in-game seeing as there's so MANY! Still looking to see if there's a way to craft more of the following, besides in-game spawns: * Cheese (since we can churn Milk from Cows to make Butter in Cooking and Carpentry) * Salt (Both the seasoning, plain and actual Curing Salt. Not sure if there's any way to do this seeing as Curing Salt is a premium for when it comes to preserving fish. Still having poor luck with Sifting Dirt AND Mining to find Saltpeter...) * Sugar (I know there's a way to make Honey from your hives seeing that Hydro made it able to CRAFT the Beekeper's Hat and the Smoker now - THANKS SO MUCH! but making Sugar somehow to get Sugar Water for making jams seems to elude me now if there is a way.) * Do Clay-made containers all count as holding vessels for water/food? The Urn, Jar, Teapot, Pipe etc. * Buckets should be able to hold water. I keep finding the Trick Or Treat ones but I haven't checked to see if there's a recipe to consume or recycle them. I know the Shoulder Carrier that can be crafted with 2x buckets makes a decent backpack in a pinch especially in MP servers where "you use what you get." More options for carrying and backpacks for players is always good. Now note that I have been looking through the script files but I feel like it's cheating somehow sometimes. I'm writing down and keeping track of a lot of these recipes to add the changes to the wiki when I get a chance.
  14. http://pzwiki.net/wiki/Hydrocraft_Items http://pzwiki.net/wiki/Hydrocraft_Crafting Yeah...that's in mad need of some updating. XD I'll see what I can add and clean that up a bit. There's a LOT more recipes now!
  15. At this rate we ARE going to need to put a Wiki to this mod. Damn. This mod's getting HUGE!
  16. I'll definitely give some of this a try tonight when I load in on the server. We rerolled the server recently and everything is fresh. Now to find some dog whistles...
  17. Ahhh I see. Give up the secondary slot for a doggie with greater packing space. Good stuff. Guess it's time to put down the 2H and get a 1H.
  18. If I can include the your mod in the Hydrocraft mod then yes! Yes those are from the Craftable Axes By Tooks. They go like this ... Axe -> Makeshift Axe -> Worn Axe -> Blunt Axe -> Recycle Note that you can all use the normal glue/tape fixing before you resort to sawing the head off your axe. Thus axes should last a lot longer if you go through every stage and fixing before recycling. Yes each stage is less effective but at least you still have an axe to use. And no you cannot re-sharpen the axe more than each stage. Thus you can assume that a Makeshift Axe is sharper than a Broken Axe but not as sharp an an Unbroken Axe. And this is where I shake my fist at the sky and curse the RNG gods for NEVER allowing me to find multiple materials in order to repair said axe in the first place...XD Seriously, if I go out scavenging and find Tape, Duct Tape, Glue/Wood Glue together in a run...I consider it a huge success. Not even kidding there. Even though I know you can make Glue out of Zombie Bones, there are times I'd still rather just break the bloody thing down and Smelt myself a new one overall JUST BECAUSE I can't find stuff to repair it and keep going. That or I'm on my 3rd Axe and chopping down trees to make Log Walls and can't be arsed to go scrapping about for supplies until my base is done. Never had much bad luck once I can score a mine built and can shift dirt to find Iron Ore to make some ingots. *What's the purpose of adding the bags to dogs (Bernese Mountain Dog and Large Hiking Bag) ? I don't think I understand the purpose of dogs too much so far besides helping you retrieve lost Cattle/Sheep and producing dog poop for fertilizer. * Also - concerning Dogs and Cows...you can feed them spoiled food to get 'poop' without them getting sick/dying...is that intentional or normal or one of those things there isn't an easy workaround for?
  19. I keep forgetting to ask this. I need to make a listing of all my questions with this mod... When you find an axe spawned in the world (NOT the Survival Axe) and it breaks after use and you can remove the head and rebuild it into a Makeshift Axe...I assume it gets dull after repeated breaks correct? And if so, is there a way to sharpen it or do I have to use the Smelter and break it down and recast a new and fresh Axe Head when it reaches Blunt status?
  20. Oooh. That sounds like an interesting mod. Can you link it?
  21. You bastards are making me roll out my Notepad++ to correct some of these small errors on my own since you're elaborating them...despite my immense dislike for anything coding related. You folks are making me get an interest in coding and correcting again! Stop it this instant! XD I added some of these minor corrections to my own files until Hydro has the release out to make life easier for my players until then. Thanks for the elaboration. Only one thing though: could you list the files if you're gonna post some of the corrections so that I can assist in some small way and learn something? Not really a demand...just the curiosity is there and I'd like to learn something to clean up the code and help in some small way instead of twiddling my thumbs waiting! I'm a newb, I know!
  22. Got some error code for you Hydro if that'll help. Loaded up the server today with the updated 3b Hydrocraft and got these two error lines: And this was at the top of the listing: Anything here can help you sort through any possible bugs? Only other mods on the server are: -ExpirationFood -Professionals -PumpPower -Dry Towels If there's anything else I can add or elaborate, please let me know. EDIT: Ehhhhh...tried to interpret it and see how I could fix it or at least look at the files but it's still Greek to me even with reading up and looking up FAQs. I'll see what I can do.
  23. Your other option (if you have enough Carpentry skill) is to build the Mine using Engineering if you happen to find a Shovel/Spade as well. Give that a try? Can't say if it's related to Foraging because how that skill works internally is a mystery to me at this time.
  24. I am fanning myself furiously at this development. You have no idea how happy that change to trap and fishing rods makes me. <3
