  1. Will load up and try the server tonight and see what's up. Hope that spelling error in "Electronic Workbench" is in this week's fixes! <3
  2. BUGS @ 15 August 2016 No way to remove Drying*insert item here* from Baking Trays, especially when precooked or post-rotten. No recipe or way to remove them.
  3. BUGS: @10 August 2016 -Using Golden Potatoes to make Potato Flour on Baking Tray to make Potato Mush and then cooking for Potato Flour, pickup out of cooking device causes it to vanish. Server restart fixes it. -Issue persists with Cooking Pot and Sterilizing Bandages/Ripped Sheets and taking Pot out of cooking device still causes it to vanish. HOWEVER if you use the right-click option to Remove Bandages(etc) from the Pot whilst it's still IN the cooking station - the bandages etc will come out as normal. Issue only happens when trying to remove the Pot to inventory. Server restart fixes it. -Drying Honey on Baking Tray causes all items to vanish when removed from cooking device. Server restart fixes it. See screenshot for misspelling of Electronics Workbench. EDIT: Seems the issue is partially due to the Baking Tray itself being bugged. Any recipe that uses it seems to disappear on cooking completion when tried. Had the guys on the server try making Cookies with a Baking Tray and they disappeared once they were removed from the cooking appliance. Had to restart server or wait 24 hours+ in-game for the item to reappear.
  4. You can already make them into bandages. Oh. Well that's odd. The recipe doesn't show up in the database site at http://undeniable.info/pz/wiki/item.php?Name=HCQtip...unless it's in the game menus somewhere and I couldn't find it. I'll take a look again tonight. Haven't see anything like it. Will confirm. @Hydromancerx BUGS: Eating 3/4 servings of a Salad (any mixture) and then adding one mroe ingredient to the final 1/4 refreshes the entire "durability" of the Salad and the user is able to eat it another 4 times. Tested item was with Canned Peaches, Cabbage, Beef Jerky Salt, Mustard and Salsa Verde. Added Canned Peaches to the salad on last 1/4 and it refreshed all 4 charges back to a full salad. MORE SPELLING: "Scavange Shroud" - "Scavenge Shroud" - what is even the purpose of this item? Haven't found anything that even uses it. http://undeniable.info/pz/wiki/item.php?Name=HCWagoncoveredoxen - Isn't "COVERN" supposed to be "COVERED" or is that limitation set by # of characters for simplicity? "Red Poato Seeds Pack" - pretty obvious. QUESTIONS: Empty Adhesive Tape - I'm guessing that there's gonna come a point where we're gonna be able to refill these right? A junk item until then? Conveyor Belt - No use yet? Kanthal Heating Coil - No use yet? No secondary use for 'Empty Bird Nest' yet? Maybe a fuel source or break down into X# x Twigs? Pot With Soap - No use yet? SUGGESTIONS: Here's a suggestion that my server players have suggested concerning these 2 items and some possible adjustments: Wagon With Oxen - http://undeniable.info/pz/wiki/item.php?Name=HCWagonoxen Covern(ed) Wagon With Oxen - http://undeniable.info/pz/wiki/item.php?Name=HCWagoncoveredoxen Seeing that attaching the Cover on the Wagon technically does nothing, not even increase the weight of the item - the covered version is technically useless or just done for aesthetics. There's no benefit in covering it as evidenced by the DB site. Suggestions from the local community are: COVERED WITH OXEN version protects you from rain and getting wet or at least drenched. PLAIN (NO COVER) version adds no protection from rain or wet. (current default) Attaching Oxen to either version increases your movespeed? (or is that a set limitation by the game?) Plain Covered Wagon/Plain Wagon can use some item weight reduction (not capacity/weight reduction btw) - http://undeniable.info/pz/wiki/item.php?Name=HCWagoncovered. How is a Wagon with NO oxen the same weight as one with Oxen equipped?
  5. Some spelling errors to be corrected in next version @Hydromancerx: -Electronics Workbench is spelled incorrectly in quite a few recipes for Engineering etc so they can't be made. -"Break Pads" - "Brake Pads" -"Drum Break" - "Brake Drum" *Dad is a mechanic XD* (Your call on these two for a Find/Replace in the code if the recipes aren't already written. Just me being a grammar Nazi. XD) Strange Meat cut from zed corpses still always burns just before it's finished cooking. QUESTIONS: -Why does the Katana SCREAM when I kill things with it? -Makeshift Shower is still just a water storage container? -Is there a plan for making Cotton Swabs Disinfect-able in future?
  6. If people are finding it hard to find certain items in the storage units, remember that if you have a Sledgehammer you can break down the doors into the other locked off units as well. I've found some of the rarer items in there as well.
  7. Oh Hydro, you might want to look into the "Sterilize Pot of Bandages" recipe as well if you found the solution to this issue. I remember submitting a bug for it where the pot vanishes under the cooking device and doesn't reappear until re-login or restart server. It MAY be the same sort of error. Just a suggestion.
  8. BUG REPORT: In many recipes in the Electrical menu in"Loot Electronic Parts, "Electronics Workbench" has a typo that stops the recipes from working. e.g Make Battery Case, Loot Electronic Parts/Scrap. There's multiple copies of the Metalworking Monthly Magazine but there's a spawn of them that contain NO recipes and the other one teaches the 'Cut Pipe' recipe. Is this a duplication or an intended feature? Cooking Prepared Corpses (preparing zeds with kitchen Knife) into Skinned Carcass (Fresh Cooked) and then using the Meat Cleaver to chop it up into Strange Meat turns the meat back to Uncooked status. Strange Meat cooks normally and then at half-bar of completion, it burns immediately with no chance to remove from fire. Burnt Meat still retains Toxic value and is poisonous to eat. Intended? UPDATE 20/7 - The meat multiplies when it's burnt. Put 1 unit into a microwave and it burned before finishing cooking and turned into 20. Wtf. If you make a Hard Boiled Egg (does not require equipment) and then use same egg to make Hard Boiled Egg Salad (requires equipment) without cooking it...resulting salad will be uncookable and read "Dangerous Uncooked" permanently. SUGGESTION: Can we alter the Makeshift Axe to have the Right-click menu to 'Cut Down Tree' or is that a base game thing that can't be altered? Can we increase the storage capacity in the Carpenter Bench? I know a lot of the items are crafted FROM it but with the weight of Planks, Logs, Wood Sheets and Beams - it would be a little more convenient? Craft directly from container? QUESTION: Are Crutches of any use yet to assist with Fractures or Broken Legs? Any planned usage for Skin from Skinned Corpses soon? Hanging Sand Bag on Punching Bag Hook depletes sand from in bag instead of consuming bag. Working as intended to not consume valuable sandbags?
  9. ^ This frigging person right here. <3
  10. You've gotten a lot further than I have even with people doing the retrieving and farming and I still can't get remotely close to making meth. XD Makes me wonder now what's so great about it, much less getting First Aid so high and doing all the research for the drugs. Enthralling.
  11. Can you elaborate or at least list out what you're disappointed in, with feedback please? We'd like to discuss these things as a community and see if it can be improved or changed if it is it benefits the community at large.
  12. It's not really a glitch persay. There's no equip system that allows it like clothing right now and SEE the effect so therefore you just gotta equip and keep it in your main window for the benefit. As for the underlying stat change: I can't prove that. Someone else have any proven testing for this? That's a normal thing. What happens is that the ejection from the fire surpasses the floor/fire's weight limit on change so therefore it requires a server restart or a logout and login to "fix" it and show it again. It happens with a few Hydrocraft items but the underlying issue hasn't been found yet but that's the simplest answer. 19 July - Edit: WHOOPS. I stand corrected. I've reproduced the error. Seems it happens on Campfires but not on Microwaves or stoves for me. Restarting the server or logging out then back in fixes it on SP and MP. The pot appears UNDER or near the fire source. Can we get some more testing on this?
  13. Hey everyone! Glad to be back on the topic! Sorry about the long AFK, couldn't get the local group to play as often as we'd like. Anyway, back to the testing and bug reports! 14. Well...shit. That's more complete than designing individual pages. O_o
  15. I spoke to Will at TIS, and he is wanting to know, if it's able, if we would be interested in having the hydrocraft wiki hosted in a subsection on the PZ wiki. I don't think he knows for sure if it's doable or not, but says he will ask around. So, i guess we will see how that pans out before finding a site? Also, he mentioned that using PZ vanilla assets is perfectly fine in regards to their terms and conditions as long as nobody was making money off of it, which i assured him, is not what we're doing. Another thing, he wants to know if adding it to Mondoid would be of any help, and i mentioned it would be great once we get a basic shell set up. Thoughts? Subbing it to the main wiki is a great idea since we can just link original items and insert our own item table as well. It's all up to admin and if they're willing to accommodate us and if community players are willing to contribute. I know it's a touchy subject when someone else's work ends up on your own wiki. Adding it to Mondoid would be nice for exposure but I'm pretty sure Hydro and the coding crew already have their work cut out for them unless they're willing to split a workload. And I'm pretty sure they don't wanna spread it around so much and not have Quality Control etc. Sub-main wiki would be easiest to manage. At least there for the articles and recipes will be able to be corrected quickly and easily. I don't know if Will responded yet, but for the sake of speeding up what you're trying to do. Hydrocraft will most likely not have a subsection on the main wiki. Welp. We have our response ladies and gents! Our work begins. I've added a post on the subreddit for input as well. AFAIK - Wiki creation is free and all it takes is the templates I'm guessing. I've only had experience with editing and not creation so this is a learning experience for me as well. So we're looking at Sunday 01 November 2015 for our name decision?

  17. Okay then. Since we're at the consensus to create an ALL NEW wiki...let's have some input on the new web address then. pz.hydrocraft.wikia.com?projectzomboid-hydrocraft.wikia.com?hydrocraftmod.wikia.com?Input your suggestions folks!
  18. Well tell ya what: if you can message the admin or devs and clarify that for us - we'll get right on it. I have some articles typed and ready to go but some IRL commitments right now are preventing me from contributing as much as I previously did to the community a few weeks ago. If you can get a final and decisive answer for us that they will allow us to use it - bam. We're in the door. No excuses. We start the wiki!
  19. That's a lot of spelling errors there Hydro...XD And I high doubt anyone wants to consider making a wiki separate for Hydrocraft because then we'd have to go request use of Zomboid's assets and images on the site and blah blah blah etc.
  20. Right, i've seen that. It's quite helpful, there is another page that has another list as well. I was just thinking of something more complete. Where certain items have their own pages. Though, that would confuse vanilla players if each HC item had it's own page. Which was why i was thinking of a separate wiki, with more in depth explanations. Does it require knowing how to code to do that sort of thing? (creating a wiki or adding info to a current wiki) The wiki code is actually very easy because you can simply reference other articles/items/codes/images/tags etc in making your articles. The main problem we've had beyond that is some people have complained about site admin removing articles and pages relating to Hydrocraft.
  21. Good lord people. I can't keep up with ya'll! I barely finish playing and testing one version and there's another one out. Community's growing happily, I'll say that! Thanks to everyone who've volunteered their time and effort and projects!
  22. : Sorry to bother you, I haven't try the new updates yet. Can I ask a few questions about some of the new functions? Is the wagons some kinds of backpack? Or does them really move? How does the hunting activity running in the game? Could you be more specific on what process a player should follow to hunt a pray? Thank you. 1) They are backpacks with extended space and no weight. The wagon I believe is 250 and weighs 0.00 once fully assembled. However, their weight reduction only comes into play once it is equipped to both hands, leaving you vulnerable. More carry weight for the price of vulnerability. 2) Hunting is simple. Have your weapon WITHOUT the rounds loaded (still in their box etc) in inventory along with Poop from the various animals you want to hunt and use the ability once all the items are in your inventory. You MUST Forage for the animal poop beforehand. Same goes for making spears or hunting Water Fowl with the whistles crafted from Carpentry. Check the menu and recipe. They are quite self-explanatory ingame. All components for Hunting come from either a crafted or pickup item (your weapons) and the Foraged item (poop etc.) There is no "cooldown" system on the Foragaing system. Availability of certain items/loot are dependent on WHERE you are. (e.g. deep forest will yield more variety than scrub/farmland/city/suburb foraging.) Also dependent is the TIME of year in-game. Closer and closer to Winter will yield progressively less items over time as wildlife migrates temporarily. All these questions can be found in the Zomboid Wiki because these are all base game mechanics that Hydrocraft basically augments. Have a read at http://pzwiki.net/wiki/Foraging if you'd like more information. Most of your questions may be answered there already!Well……the forging system that I am asking,is blacksmithing. I am curious whether there is (or there will be)any cooling mechanism for melting metal. For example a pot of melted metal need to wait a while(cool down) to become ingot. And if it wasn't put in a mold before cool down,it will change something else than a ingot. Nope. None of that. No cooling system. Craft your stuff and go at it.

  24. All these wonderful recipes! Be sure to spellcheck guys! I'm really eager to test these should they end up in the mod!
