  1. 1) Did some more testing on the Rice. It seems in THIS instance that the Pots of Rice bugged out when they were cooked as they seem to increase in weight and basically "disappeared" from the stove. Had to log out and log back in for the pots to reappear as the Stove was overweight past the 50 limit to 62 once the pots of rice were cooked. Still may be something worth looking at it. 2) Concerning Charcoal - this is a base game item correct? Did you notice my red text replies in your main quote above as well? Just asking.
  2. I figured out what was wrong with the pies. Thanks for reporting! Thanks! Hopefully this is the full extent of it tho. We'll see if it pops up again. Bug Submission #4 1 - Added one more bug: trying to fill Bowls with Rice from "Cooked Pot Of White Rice" that has the status "Starting to rot" results in the pot AND rice being consumed when activated and the bowls not being filled. Not server log text sadly. Pot and Rice disappears. No full bowls. No return of ingredients at all. Tested it with spawning items in via server CMD prompt and it works once the Food Item is FRESH. Once it has the text "Starting to rot" - it bugs out. 2 - Just a heads-up! Ingot Mold and Charcoal bug still exists where if it's used from the floor where the Smelter is located, the Ingot Mold is depleted but DOES NOT vanish. Molds AND Charcoal NEED to be used from character's inventory if they are to be used fully and depleted to be removed from inventory. Depleted item remains in inventory with bug and still has "undepleted" weight size. Only way currently to dispose of "depleted" items is to craft 1 x new Mold and craft something that requires same mold to use up and delete bugged items OR via corpse disposal. (e.g craft 1 x Ingot Mold (new) and then use a 'Recycle/Smelt' option to burn-up the previous bugged ones.)
  3. EDIT: Apparently we're having some cases of disappearing PIE! Crafted a Peach Pie from the Pie crust and the Canned Peaches, put it to cook on the stove and was watching the Cooking Progress bar. Pie completed...and then vanished. Ingredients and pan too. Server window gives this error: "ItemContainer.Additem: can't find HCPiepeachbaked" WE GOT GHOSTS HYDRO! THEY STEALING OUR PIES!
  4. Bugs found today - 13th Sept 2015 - Clothes Line With Clothes drying Wet Bath Towels duplicates the Towels instead of drying and consuming the Wet ones. Assembled line, added clothes, used right-click AND crafting menu option to dry towels and ended up with 4 MORE dry towels instead of consuming the wet ones. Screenshots needed? - Having added Lighter Fluid, when Lighters are depleted (e.g. via use of the Kiln), no empty lighter container refillable with fluid is left behind. Lighter fluid apparently has to be added BEFORE the lighter is depleted fully. Working as intended?Questions: There's 2 Recipes for Dry Some Tomato Slices. One uses Tomato, Salt, Kitchen Knife and BakingTray and the other uses Baking Tray, Salt and 4 x Sliced Tomatoes. Do those two recipes give the same result? Because if that's the case, there's no point in slicing the Tomatoes if it is you need Salt as an extra consumable and the recipe seems a little...pointless especially since the other Drying recipes require Lemon Juice or no secondary ingredient in some cases. Is this intentional? Does the Shower with the added sink have an explicit purpose yet or is it decorative for now? Because it looks pretty dang snazzy!
  5. Note that we MAY still have some issues with the Charcoal consumption bug at this time. So for best results with Charcoal when crafting: please make sure the bag is either in you inventory or a container nearby and not on the floor "under" the building crafting table. The reason for this is that we had an old bug where 1 Unit of Charcoal would remain in the bags and the "empty bags" would stay as active items, not be consumed but still weigh the same amount. Just a heads up. I stand corrected if this bug has been fixed! yeah but i can only dismantle calculators and stuff like that thats the second problem: how do i dismantle a fridge or a microwave? The short version of this dual-explanation of this Dismantle question seems to be that you have to be AT the Junkyard with the Screwdriver and the dismantle-able item. Not sure if I'm interpreting it correctly.

  7. I stand corrected. There IS a change to how Glue is made as of recent due to needing the Kiln now. The correct recipe is as follows: (Some of the terms may not be EXACTLY as shown in-game but bear with me. XD) Get Pottery Book to learn Kiln > Make Kiln > Make Clay Cauldron and Charcoal.Get 2 x Stone > Make Mortar and PestleGet Medical Textbook > Learn Gather Bones From Corpses > Combine Corpse with Saw to Harvest Bones (Note this includes Bones from Hunting prey and Cooking > Butchering corpses for Skeleton and from Zombie Corpses)Use Bones with M&P to make Bone PowderCombine Kiln + Clay Cauldron + Water + 10 x Bone Powder + Fire Source (Lighter, Matches etc) to get Glue.tl;dr - You're looking at about 60 Clay here before you can even begin to make Glue. Kiln = 50 Red/Grey clay, Cauldron = 5-10 Clay (Not too sure atm - not near the game.) AND searching for the above 3 books before you can begin. The Medical Textbook, the Pottery text and the one that teaches you the Kiln recipe, much less finding a Saw. Note that it's SUBSTANTIALLY MORE complicated to make Glue this round as opposed to the mod about 3-4 versions back. This was possibly done as a balance issue seeing that Glue is used in so many recipes and we have to make use of a lot of mod content...Arrows for example. It sounds cumbersome but the balance IS necessary.a I've done it in a few hours work solo but it's immensely satisfying when you DO get it going. I can only imagine how it feels to be on a PVP server and having your Kiln of all things stolen... YES I KNOW we need to update the Wiki as a community but I'm not getting an ounce of time to add in the articles and tables sorry to say! Been rather busy myself to where I'm actually playing and TRYING to break things so that I can assist in keeping things fairly stable. THANK YOU SO MUCH for doing the Category sorting of the crafting menus. By Talos' beard - I love you. <3 My OCD itched every time I had to scroll-search a recipe by hand. XDGetting to the Biogas, Junkyard and Meth stages of construction are a bit cumbersome but dang if it is you're not encouraging us to pack up shop and move to the center of town now! We hermits on the edge of towns in the cabins are getting pushed out dangit! Hauling all that pipe back to my Cabin to make alcohol is heavy dagnabit!Thanks for the Tupperware fix. Glad to be of partial service to get that one sorted out! I'll test it again tonight as I logon to make sure everything's working and post any bugs I find.Pallets...of MRE's...Geez. O_o Why would someone need all those MRE's? Are you people constipated or something?! There's fresh fish and vegetables for chrissakes!
  8. Okay, some things I've noticed about Hunting. I know you're already working on fixing it Hydro but just making sure you're aware of these: -When Hunting, if gun is loaded Survivalist recipe does not show recipe as counting shells IN the Shotgun. I.e. if I load 6x shells into Shotgun, the recipe does not recognize that the shells are still in my inventory. -When Hunting, weapons do not lose durability. Working as intended or no current system to adjust to take Durability into consideration? -Still not sure about Clothes Lines. Made 1x Clothes Line, upgraded it to Double, planted it on the group and right-clicked and checked menus with 2 x Wet Towels in my inventory with no result. Am I using it correctly or do I have to find a recipe book/magazine to get the recipe to hang out said clothing? -Current purpose/functionality of Scarecrows? Because I realize zeds just walk right past mine even though I've made a few on the border of my camp. No use currently besides decoration?

  11. Weird question here Hydro: When I catch a fish from Fishing - what determines how many Fillets I get? Because I can Fillet it once with a Kitchen Knife once it's caught but then I can Fillet the Fillet over and over and get more... I caught a 112 cm Pike, used Fillet and then Fillet'd the Fillet to get up to 39 more...is this working as intended? Because 40 Fillets off one fish is a little hard to understand. XD - Next thing: when I Salt the Fillets - I'm not seeing any recipes that use them for Stew, Soups etc. Are there currently no recipes in-mod that allow me to use them again in a recipe? Or is is between scripting that the increased Thirst index will mess with recipes and output? N.B. - I know a player can eat them easily since they're apparently so plentiful and it's a food that does not spoil easily so therefore adding them (since their RAW counterparts can be used in Soup/Stew etc) that it would be rather pointless to waste Curing Salt THEN have to add them to recipes to gain a food of the same result. So the Salted Fillets are more a travel/mobile food than anything really...I guess... Not complaining mind you but I'm trying to understand/make some logic out of all of this or at least understand how and why some recipes behave as such.
  12. Get the Medical Textbook and a Saw, read it, learn Gather Bones from Corpses > Cut up the corpses for bones > Use Mortar and Pestle and grind them up and make Glue.
  13. ...die...repeat... I'm crying inside right now because I'm doing a bit of hardmode camping here. I'm out at the Cabin Near The Lake and trying to eke out a living as a challenge via fishing and mining and foraging. Needless to say shit goes Space-Mexico when the game decided last night to give me a Helicopter OVER my cabin...and pull a huge horde my way. :'(

You have to prepare the Pot of Sugar water yourself - you need a Pot of Water, 1 unit of Sugar (or equivalent - honey can be dried and used as sugar now) and 1 unit of Lemon juice (either about 1/4 of one of the round yellow bottles of lemon juice, or lemon juice you've obtained by juicing lemons into a bowl or empty bottle yourself. You don't need a bunch of berries to make jam or wild berry juice (or bluebrry or blackberry juice or jam) - just having 8 of the same type/colour is enough. I think the bunch of berries is used when preparing Jarred Berries, but I juice or jam all of mine so I've not investigated it. Words cannot express how much I love you right now for that info. I shouldn't be trying to do things on this mod at 2AM and nearly crying in frustration. XD The Pot Of Sugar isn't in the Recipe listing it seems? Is it only on the right-click menu? Or is my imagination just messing with me? Either way: it seems lemons are the new damn GOLD standard and it's your job to get that kiln up and running ASAP to get lemons growing and harvesting since it seems to be necessary for almost all recipes to this point seeing that you can make Homemade Disinfectant with it now as well besides preserving and the juicing as well. Crimony. I LOVE how intertwined everything in this mod us but GAWDAMN at times it makes you wanna cry when you have to reroll a server to test items and spawns for bugs only to be running halfway across town for a JUICER much less to scavenge as many lemons as you can ASAP to start putting them in Pots...to realize you have no kiln or clay to make them. XD Lay on floor. Cry a lot. Get backpack and go back out again.
  15. Current version allows you to turn Berries > Wine > Vinegar. Yeast is still a WIP I think.
  16. 1. Stone Axes are a Base Game thing. 2. Yeah I got o fix the berries for that. 3, The issue is with the packing. We are still looking for a way to stop xp from packing planks. But the base game gives XP for any recipe that uses planks. 4, Hmm I will have to think about the wooden stake thing. However I have been thinking about making more fuel for lighters and having them give empty lighters when they run out of fuel. 5, Good idea about campfire fuel. 6. Well you can burn socks I think. Thanks for the reply. I'll have the boys test more recipes etc on the server and add any more bugs I find. If there's anything we can do to help with a TO DO list or screenshots etc - please let us know! Addressing the same issue (in terms of longevity for a server/map) concerning matches/lighters etc - since you added Torches as well and there's Campfires, can they be used as a flame source? I'm all for the Lighter Fluid development as well but for player base we need to address the complex option and the simple option as well if possible. E.g. creating matches from Sulphur > Mortar And Pestle > Sulphur Powder & Sturdy Stick = Craft Matches [Engineering/Survival crafting] ? As a side thought as well - lighters can hold more fuel/provide more flame sources than matches persay. Or this is all limited by base-game scripting? Side question: When I fillet Fish, carve Wooden Stakes etc with bladed tools (Kitchen Knife, Scissors, Meat Cleaver etc) I notice that they do not lose durability. Is this intentional or is a base game function? It's rather odd that I can carve up 20 Cows and my Meat Cleaver is still as sharp as when I first found it.That and did you include Handmade Wooden Dowels in the mod yet by chance? Just curious.

Found a pair of weird bugs playing in MP today: -Creating and having more than one Rough Stone Axe in your inventory basically boosts the durability of the other for some reason and makes them harder to break. Scenario: Created 2 x Stone Axes with Chipped Stone and had both in my inventory. Approach tree bare-handed and proceeded to use 'Cut Down Tree' menu option and animation proceeds. Tree falls, no durability loss from axe. Attempt on 7 other trees - same result but neither axe breaks. Try 8th tree and one axe breaks but immediately regains full durability. Other axe in dropdown menu is still at full durability. Hit 9th tree and BOTH axes break at the same time. One is marked with the X as broken and the other has its' durability empty but no broken icon. Both axes rendered unusable. Not sure if this is a Hydrocraft issue but reporting anyway. I think there's no way to repair a broken stone axe at this time is there? -Putting Berries gained from Foraging into a Tupperware container boosts their 'Hunger' refill quality. Berries on their own give -2 Hunger. When placed into a Tupperware container - they gain 60 Hunger per ONE BERRY. Scenario: gathered stack of 18 berries from Foraging. Had Large and Small Tupperware container in inventory. Both empty. Proceeded to fill both containers with berries using the "Fill Tupperware Container with Food" option and each container only took ONE berry out of the stack. Stack is now 16 after filling both containers. Consuming from TC - both units gained -60 Hunger. Note that FILLING the container gives you 1.5 units of Cooking exp as well. Working as intended? Screenshots available if necessary. -Cutting Logs > Wood Block gives exp but Wood Block > Wooden Ring gives no exp. Working as intended? Questions/Suggestions: 'Harden Wooden Stake' - is it possible to use this recipe with a Campfire instead, seeing that creating them burns up Lighter and Matches which will eventually deplete in a map?'Broken Wooden Stake' and other broken WOODEN tool items - Can we use this in Campfires as fuel or is this a base-game scripting bit that may be out of your control Hydro?'Bunch Of Berries' and 'Pot Of Sugar Water' used for the Cooking Recipe to Cook Berries, Juicing etc - where can these items be found? Or is it a recipe out of one of the books/harvested? Pretty sure I've asked this question before and forgotten. XDDoes the Makeshift Shower do anything at this time? I'd like to know if I can get my soap and towel and take a bath now and again to relax! I know since you've added the Clothes Line that I don't need to use DryTowels anymore. Still not use for all those Socks and Panties/Underwear yet tho.
  18. It's usually not NECESSARY but due to how spawning of items work and their chances etc plus new recipes: it's recommended. That or you push a loot respawn cycle on your server or set your loot to respawn in terms of a SP game.
  19. 1) Evolve client you say...do tell me more. 2) Let's try a graphics setting change? Have you tried switching up resolution with a server restart and see if the problem persists across the save and reload? It seems that the problem is happening as the game tries to load Hydro textures or objects and starts failing at it or some sort of corruption happens. Thing is that Hydro doesn't change the base game terrain and textures so hence this puzzles me as well. So far nothing's been added to the base game that the PLAYER doesn't create and drop/deploy. It's strange that it persists until the Hydro mod loads and unload though...I assume you can't load into the server to see if the artifacts persist if you: -Deactivate the mod in SP. -Restart client. -Disable the mod in MP Server - don't reset the server fresh to generate a new world. Keep the Hydro content but deactivate the mod and keep going. -Restart server -Login with Client into server with mod UNLOADED and see if persists? Any of that seems logical?

I've seen the errors of terrain missing/items vanishing but not that badly. Hm. Reinstalled the game entirely or just the usual wipe world/refresh/remake? And what's your rig like that the server rides on? I know with the programming that RAM gets eaten up a lot at times and you may be getting some of that artifacting due to that. I agree it is very strange. But the exact same issue also occurs on solo as well so i dont think its a server exclusive issue. It could possibly be the RAM but diagnostics show its not reaching its max capacity. I know for a fact my specs are better than my friends as well, yet as I said before he has no issues. I reinstalled entirely. Deleted local content, then wiped any residual folders, ran CCleaner, restarted and reinstalled. It ran perfectly until I left the start building. If a screen capture would help I can produce one. Just want to get this mod working haha. Let me know if there is anything more I can provide, also, thanks for the assistance Haha, I'm no pro at this. Just an I.T. guy who enjoys Hydro's work and trying to assist where I can to get bug reports sorted! Just sorting out the primary issues first so that we get to the source of the error and to cut out the un-needed easy solutions! Good on you for your primary diagnosis and getting the early steps out of the way so we can count out an incompatibility issue. From there we can see if it's related to in-game files/folders! We're getting to the root of the problem here since if we provide Hydro proper details instead of "I HAVE A PROBLEM!" - we can get it seen to. 1) So in terms of the artifacting and terrain...if you logout in a broken area, restart server and come back in-any difference or the terrain remains GENERATED as broken/artifacted? 2) This problem only shows up on YOUR end since I assume from your post that you run the server on your rig for friends to connect to and then you connect to your 127.0.0.1 to join in correct? If that's the case - they're NOT experiencing the terrain issue but YOU are...correct?

  22. Do you do fresh install with folder-deletion and extraction or just overwrite?
  23. Okay when you put down the item, it will appear with its' graphic on the floor. After that: either check your crafting log for a recipe to combine the "floor building" to create an item OR step away and attempt to right click the new building and see if there's an interact menu.
  24. "Buildings" like the Forge and Smelter have to be put on the ground and can be used from there. They're heavy so they're meant to be used from the ground/a container alongside the other ingredients or crafting materials. Did that answer your question?
