Heya, Had an idea while replying to this thread; Washing! Ok so the idea is a bit more elaborate then just washing, heres a rundown; - Clothes can get dirty and infected - Clothes can get dirty from running around the woods - Clothes can get infected from scratches or zombie-blood-splatter - Wearing dirty clothes doesn't really matter, but wearing infected clothes can be troublesome - When wearing infected clothes, scratches/cuts could become a serious issue for your health - Making rags(sheets?) from infected clothes can get you infected rags, which would obviously be a health hazard. - Finally, clothes (and rags/sheets) can be washed at any body of water, after which the dirt would wash off, and the infection should wash off aswell, albeit maybe a bit slower/or maybe not completely. Just a thought, feel free to shoot it down or use this as a stepping stone for your own ideas.

In defense of my stance, theres no way to wash clothes/etc in PZ, and any sort of nasty infection could therefor (for example) already be on the clothes used to make rags But your right, once the wound is closed with something fairly clean, most dangers are dealt with. (btw, feature request? would be great if you could wash clothes in water hehe) Edit: made a thread for the suggestion of washing clothes here

While you make some fair points, you should realize that this is zombie apocalypse times, the worlds are covered with corpses, and real life learns us (some sad examples around that tsunami and more recent events) that dead people left out in the open start to spread scary diseases. And then on top of that, there's bound to be some nasty shit flying around just because its a zombie apocalypse and zombies are prolly very infectious just my 2 cents

Hello, just signed up to give y'all a friendly heads-up, the company you guys are using to send mails has started sending around spam for some dutch Caprishop.com, trying to rope me in with some discount. Got it 2 days ago, just realized the only sort of logical source would be project zomboid (because its using the same email company, and i would never ever sign up for some spammy shop, so got a very strong hunch i indeed never did, and people are infact abusing the project zomboid mailing list!!) Will gladly hand over the email source (privately so bots wont spider my email and send me even more spam) if requested. The above resulted in me unsubscribing. (while i would have really liked to keep receiving the mondoids)
