  3. hmm, I wonder if you can have multiple mags per gun,like some glock mags are interchangeable and stanag 20, 30, 40, 60, and beta c 100 mags are all the same type. Would it work. I still support unloading mags. Cant tell you how many times i find a junk shotgun, load it, then the next room has a better shotgun and I cant salvage the round loaded.

  5. The idea for weapon conditions is how well it is maintained. Spare parts can be obtained from guns of the same type and only from guns of used or new condition. The weapon condition set can be like this. New - Best state, never jams and is the best you can get, but needs good constant maintenance to keep it up, as it can never return to this stage. Used - Needs cleaned up, and rarely jams, over all in good condition, just a few scratches. Worn - Needs a bit of repair, jamming occurs frequently, best to not let it get too damaged. Weapon repair kit needed to up its stage to used. Damaged - needs new parts and is barely functional, jamming is almost guaranteed. Spare parts and weapon repair kit needed to raise it's stage to used Broken - Cant be fired and is useless, better to get a new gun.
  6. Well, I didn't know they had spring loaded nail guns... huh well, I'll put that one on the eventually list. It works by bringing back a hammer with a lever, releasing the hammer with a powerful spring, not quick, but it would work in a pinch, its not as powerful as a compressed air nailgun,though.

There are so many guns I could name off, all of them have chances of being illegally imported and gangs can have them, older collectors could have them, etc. I will hold off on my list for a little. Need to remember some good double barrels and maybe a "Nail Gun"/improvised nail scatter gun. Also there are spring loaded nail guns shot at a distance of 5-10 feet they can do some damage.

H&R Model 733 .32 Colt Cobra .32 Cold Detective special .32 HK416 and 417 both have differnt looks and and are designed for medium range, considering both to be assault and battle rifles and possibly DMRs ar15 was based for close quarters combat while ar10 is based for medium to long range firing. the 417 can be a decent sniper, the ar10 would not. I was just thinking a little on the semi reasonable for criminals and illegal imports, I know some of it was a little outside of the box, but plausible.
  9. I was going to give a compulsory "no" from my experiences seeing it in videogames, but after I gave it some thought, I don't see why not. It is semi-automatic (I already have semi-auto shotguns) and you have to load each shell into the rotating cylinder manually, it is fairly heavy. Adding it to the list. Mags to loot tables: Yes absolutely I was thinking about that yesterday evening, I just need to figure a way to implement it without them appearing in non hardcore ammo mode Stripper clips/speed loaders as mods.: That is a good idea but only for non-hardcore mode. I like the idea of having a couple loaded speed loaders for a revolver then have to load single rounds after that. Though, in non hardcore mode it might make more sense to have them as gun mods. Especially since guns that use those tend to have lower amounts of mods. Extended barrels: Not a bad idea, but there are a lmited number of mod slot in the game code... G36C - I am hesitant to add this one... I already have the SL8 BB Gun starter pack - I am not sure what you mean, like the player starts with one? I'll check into the 5.56 rounds Nail gun - Interesting concept... though all pneumatic nail guns require a compressor which is heavy and loud... and requires a constant power source Mags in the loot table cannot be removed via the option, though they might not show up, I am not sure, but regardless it will fill in the void in gun shops an allow me to load more than 1 mag without finding a whole new gun. The Strpperclip mod would work fine, it will just make the actual guns reload faster, regardless of mag or not because it speeds up the single round reload if they are internal fed magazines. The bb gun can be added to the "Starter Kit" that the player starts with if checked. Its not too powerful, but is rather useful for early on. A lot of ammos are actually lighter than their boxes. An easy way to implement suppressors is to use a rightclick craft method to combine a threaded barrel and suppressor then it can either be a mod or right click the weapon and combine them to make a new weapon. Also could be a seperate version of a gun with a threaded barrel and the suppressor would be a mod, the threaded barrel could be found and added to a gun as well to make the new version. Bayonet that allows melee versions of a gun using right click menus? Carbon fiber and aluminum parts for lighter weapons? Right click firing modes? Using the method you already have to use different ammo with current guns maybe specific ammo like depleted uranium, slugs, hollow points, Frictional thermite tips, etc? Different weapon grades like broken, damaged, worn, used, new? I love adding onto your work load, hope you dont mind.

Absolutely correct.The AK-47 (first introduced into service in 1949) is an old venerable design but it was replaced in 1959 by the AKM. The M in AKM stands for (in russian obviously) "modern" as is was only an updated version of the older design. The only difference was a slanted muzzle break to reduce muzzle rise, A cyclical rate reducer to make automatic fire more manageable, and the most important and defining difference was the usage of a light thinner gauge U receiver instead of a heavier machined receiver. So referring to the AK as an AK-47 is only correct if it has the machined receiver or the thicker stamped steel receiver that failed so much it caused them to use the machined version. The AKM was then replaced by the AK-74 replaced the AKM 1974. It used the5.45 as Archadeas said because it is a lighter round which gave it faster speed, less bullet drop, longer range and reliability. They maintained a 50% parts commonality with the AKM for ease of production and repair. Though some Russian reservists and second line troops still use the AKM. Finally both (the AKM and AK-74) were replaced in service by the modernized version, the AK-12. Enough history lesson for now... I can add a list of mods, sure, Skeleton stocks and folding/retractable stock would be good additions. However, the silencers I am still very much on the fence on. Here is why: Silencers are illegal for civilian use unless you get a tax stamp, which is prohibitive because it has a fairly high payment and you have to demonstrate an actual need for it, like protecting your livestock from coyotes while not wanting to scare them into a stampede. As such it would be nigh impossible to find on civilians, especially since none of the farms nearby (in the game) seem to be livestock ranches. For military police use, silencers are also rarely used. Police don't really do covert ops so they wouldn't have them, and the military would not be deployed to quell "riots" (in reality a zombie attack) with silencers. Also, A silencer requires the attaching gun to have a threaded barrel for it to screw into. You couldn't pick up a gun off of a body and snap a suppressor onto it... So that would require you to find threaded guns or add threading yourself, which would require proper tools and some know-how If a convincing case can be made, I might change my mind... though I would have to find silencing sounds... and there would be different suppressors for each caliber that can accept them... It is only illegal in 11 states, Kentucky is not a state they are illegal in and it is completely legal for any us citizen in that state to own one, granted they go through a background check and pay the taxes of $200 per user, not suppressor. No need is required to be stated for this as it is considered protective equipment like earplugs and is preferred in urban environments to reduce "Noise" pollution. Swat teams almost always have not only threaded barrels, but suppressors as well and are used quite frequently for high risk night raids. Most military branches also use weapons with capped threads or flash suppressors on the end and have a stock of them on hand in case needed, you also have to take into account criminal activity in the city, threaded barrels are easy to put on, just remove the old barrel and use the threaded barrel, not a big deal on that one. Suppressors are designed for specific calibers, most commonly 9mm, .45(Was designed as a subsonic round so it suppresses very well), 5.56mm, and 7.62mm(This however does not remove most of the sound, it just scatters it as with all large caliber suppressors, revolvers and shotguns rarely have silencers, but they can also be made from cloth, metal, duct tape and some minor scraps for improvised ones. Anything else?

Thanks, it works now and I love it, would be interesting to have a single item or if renamed items acted as another item, I like equipping my other hiking bag in secondary when not in a major fight to loot more, but I have to go into the inventory to equip it and I am not sure how easy that would be to code.

I am more of a survivalist, hunter, metal worker, carpenter, mason, construction worker, farmer, programmer, scientist, marksman, close quarters combat instructor, writer, accountant, logistics specialist, youtuber mix. Edit 1: I think it would be good to add mags to the loot tables, instead of stripper clips and speed loaders as magazines, make them mods, barrel replacement, extended barrels, nailgun, g36c maybe. Maybe the starter pack can have a bb pistol and a tin of bbs. 5.56mm are lighter than their boxed versions.
  16. First time I ever shot a bow I got 58 out of 60 bullseyes at 30ft with a shortbow, then 41 out of 60 at 60ft with a longbow. I was about 9-10
  17. I sadly cant seem to get this to work on 31.6, I get an error when I press tab or any other rebound key and nothing shows up, even tried a new game new hud size, etc, nothing. Java.lang.runtimeexception is the error for me, downloading java now to see if that fixes it, only mod I am running right now. java.lang.RuntimeException: attempted index: readLine of non-table: null still shows up so not sure.
  18. I am a regular guy and I can hit you at 100 yards, though not accurately or consistently, 30-40 feet I can usually get a headshot or at least hit the thing. If you cant hit something at 15 feet(I have seen 8 year olds who can hit something at 15 feet), there is something wrong and thats about how close I get in PZ.
  19. I was thinking a .001% or less, but unique might work too. I am a youtuber, so I get to decide, heh. Though you misspelled my name on the front page... I dont have a "u" in it. Also, why no bow and arrow? Bows can be made with 10 ripped sheets+2 planks+1 saw and a sharp tool, arrows can be made from stone+wood plank+5 ripped sheets=5 arrows, then their is a compound bow and crossbow you can find, Bow's mag can be a quiver holding 20 arrows. Maybe Javelins? Slings? Thrown stones? all of which are good alternatives to improvised weapons. I know the bow recipe works in real life, heh. Depending on how indepth you want to get with this mod you could do anything from just spawns, to casting your own lead bullets with returned brass casings from shooting(If possible), or even just finding bullet parts more commonly that actual ammo, maybe even a weapon machining process, the possibilities are pretty large.

Hmm, would you consider hero weapons, like named versions of weapons that dont take upgrades, but are over all better like "Lord Archadeas's Dragunov" or "ORMtnMan's Delta Elite" or just in general specially named ones, setting them to be nearly impossible to find. I think it would be fun for collectors and might be a goal for be to get one in a youtube series, by the way, I am going to make a youtube series with this mod added to a list,

Its not an error message, literally a box of .308 Winchester can be opened as either .308 Winchester or just normal .308 rounds and normal .308 is the first option, I will test the new version, not promises as I have had a horrible day at work, but we can see. Also I suggest a version number on the zip file, that way I dont have 100 files labeled the same not knowing which is what. a simple 0.1.7 or something would help immensely. Also, I am loving the full auto on some guns.
  22. Damn... that is a lot of ammo... Perhapse I should drop that a bit, but, at the same time, it is a #$@!* to get to the police station, so that should be a reward... Thanks for verifying that. I will look into the ammo boxing recipies when I get home from work same, granted I am on abundant loot, things seem about right for balance. I will test later for more things.
  23. Thought I would test it before work. .308 Windchester box of amo opens up to be normal .308 or .308 Winchester(Get 2 options), bug? Edit: Also, Oorah!, got myself a M1014 in the pd with over 400 shells first shelf and an M9 with another 600. So its all working.

Ok, testing now, first thing to note ORGMReloadUtil.lua has an error line 757 you forgot a " Edit 1:Shows local Colt38SMag = { type = "Colt38SMag, instead of local Colt38SMag = { type = "Colt38SMag", Edit 2:Also no gun spawns still, the entire police station evidence lockup/armory is empty beside a knife and a bag on abundant weapons... Edit 3:Also ORGMAmmo.txt is throwing a volley of errors name InvalidParameterExceptions for boxes Same with ORGMMods.txt more parameter issues and some issues, making quick fixes as I can and will send you an updated file on what I have soon. These issues are solved with removing commas, using commas makes the engine think its moving onto another line, not a pause. Edit 4:I am going to bed, I fixed some of your code and sent it to you, hope it helps.

Also makeshift weapons like pipe shotgun, maybe a gunpowder item and flintlock weapons, I know about 30 people with an old black powder musket, dont know the models though, muzzle loads and bags of loads can be used, though they are only good for single shots. Maybe have a reloading bench and ammo crafting, again, tossing ideas.
