  1. My first successful SP experience, having been testing out the game! (Build 29) Took this screenshot just after solving my water problem. Biggest problem I've had so far has been not finding a hand-saw. I got a bit nervous in the first days after finding this spot, I got sick and had to rest for a few to recuperate. Other than that I had a few close-call alarm situations (do those things work on batteries argh) when feverishly looking for a hand-saw before my water ran out. Luckily I read about the door-shattering mechanics Now I've food and water gushing out of the cupboards! Constant rotting is an issue, need a potato cellar. After initially cleaning out the area I haven't seen a single zombie around this part of the map. (The highway's full of them though)
  2. I don't know, since the areas around aren't super urban, I feel you shouldn't have to carry rocks with you to make a fire pit. If we're looking for more player interaction with the environment, you'd think rocks could be found everywhere and not just in forests
  3. Hmm they might be I'll have to try it out once i get a fire going. Just figured out to hammer down doors. xD
  4. Hello! I've fallen for Zomboid and I have been playing it for a good 8 hours now probably. Realizing this is a very new update and am not expecting to see changes immediately. Didn't see a post for it so I thought I'd point out; You can make an axe from a tree branch but you can't use it to fuel a bonfire! Having grown with nature right outside my doorstep I know very well you can absolutely make a campfire without a 'kit' or by sawing planks, you merely need dry branches, twigs and lichen if you're feeling quirky. Thus, building a fire seems a lot harder than it actually is! I would understand the lack of common sense if the game was making some sort of social commentary about the helplessness of modern folk. But that brings me back to the stone axe... ;D Also, whiskey burns, another molotov ingredient/ material for building fires? I had been collecting it just for this reason since I'm a light drinker anyway, I was sad to find out it wouldn't work. I wouldn't be asking all this but my first successful survival game just hit the point of no 'lectricity, and I'm having terrible trouble finding a saw...
