  1. I think we should revert to calling multiple zombies: Zombi
  2. I believe they're using numbers as opposed to full written words.
  3. I'm wondering if they've talked about having a sanity moodlet too. God knows how much your mind will break going into a horde with no sleep for 2 days.
  4. What is Photoshop? We only know killing zombie hordes.
  5. "My clock is glitched, it's nighttime but it still reads 11AM." PZ Mods: "Did you check the battery of the watch in your inventory?" ".....Issue has been fixed!"
  6. Find a home, front door unlocked! Success! As I go in, deathly silence. I'm searching the kitchen thinking to myself: Wow, this home has fantastic loot. And what do I hear? The soul crushing noise of a house alarm wailing, which triggers various sounds of grumbling outside and banging on windows/doors. So I decide to myself, I'll quickly give the house a once over, grabbing anything of use. So I do. Now I get to the last room, stumbling upon painkillers before SMASH. The banging has stopped, which only means the undead are inside. I grab what I can and dive into the nearest bedroom in hopes to find some sheets to rope down, nada. Only then do I hear behind a closed door one of the undead swinging into the same bathroom I just exited and standing there, not moving. So I make a break for it down the stairs into the comforting arms of two undead who seemed to be waiting for me on the steps, slipped over the banister, breaking a few things and finally being eaten alive.
  7. Greetings Survivor, Thank you for taking the time to look at this post! Feel free to reply to the threat on what you feel could be expanded, added, and hopefully grab the attention of Devs to take a quick gander! 1. Visual Equipment: Now I know what you're thinking, Sion, this level of content could take FOREVER to add! Well allow me to retort! Most of the In-Game Clothing Options are fairly limited, 3-4 Colour Options of, Sweaters, Vests, Shorts, Jeans and only one pair of Shoe... well. It's not exactly bursting with variety to allow your character to look Unique! I am fully aware the Dev Team are tackling more pressing issues such as Multiplayer, than a variety of cat-walk worthy clothes! This could be easily fixed if a tool was released to the Community (which was also added in one of the Dev Vlogs) that could easily add items onto the default player and for In-Game importation. (Forgive me if such tool has been released) All in all, I would love to visually see my character donning a Tactical Vest over a Military Jacket and pants with a duffle bag strapped to his back! 2. Vehicles: Now this has been touched upon briefly by Lemmy in a previous post I had made (See below). But think about it, these maps are absolutely huge. You would have a tough battle getting from one side of the map to the other without any mode of transport. Of course, this would need balancing, Idling in the car shouldn't make you invincible. (So Vehicle Damage would have to be implemented) but finding a run down (yet repairable) vehicle, fixing it up and setting out for the nearest Police Station. Well t'would be quite the adventure! 3. Maps & Known High-Loot Locations: In addition to being able to mark said map, t'would be nice if these two features could be combined. Breaking into someones house and stumbling across a travel guide for Muldraugh listing the nearest Hospital, Police Station etc would be pretty nice, Along with marking places down on your map if you can't haul it all back home would be nice. Being able to use said map to mark down looted buildings, buildings with a horde near, security fitted homes and such would be a lovely addition to add to your Zombie Adventure! 4. Group Management: Now I know NPC's are out of the game for a while, but I don't see why we can't discuss what it could become! An Example of how Group Management would work would be, you gather two groups for scavenging, yourself and three others, and a group of four. Your party returns unscathed, however the other party (due to underleveling, which I'm sure is possible) was massacred. Only one returned home (which could also beg the question, did he sacrifice his other members for his own life) but he is also injured. He requires Medicine, now, you could either treat him, take his life or send him on his way without aid. This may even branch into, if you've saved him, is he infected? Though this is quite a big task since it involves a lot of scripting, might deter the game to a more strategy style (which believe me I would not want) it might add a bit more responsibility for yourself and others in the Apocalypse along with a tad bit more depth to the larger picture then just looking after yourself. (Obviously try to avoid The Sims 4: Apocalypse as much as possible, also watch out EA, I'm going to copyright that.) 5. Uses for Bath/Shower/Toilet: Now I know what you're thinking. Sion, this is not The Sims. But on the contrary! We already have hunger, bordem, thirst, happiness and such. The Food you eats gotta go somewhere, hell if you eat an under cooked food, might even make you need to use the restroom a LOT more often. Another topic would be needing to use the Shower. Believe me, if I had over 300 confirmed undead kills and was caked in blood, I don't think it'd make me particularly happy to wander about bathed in it using the shower should greatly increase ones happiness. (Also breed the trait, Masochist, blood makes you happy!) Now that may be my main list. And I probably will be adding to this sooner or later, below are small little things I'd like to see added. 1. Glasses: Most of us wear them, t'would be nice to play a character whose glasses have a percent to be knocked off during combat, reduce the players visibility and fall into a horde and become Zombie Chow. 2. Crossbow/Bows: Cause who doesn't want to be the Darryl Dixon of PZ. 3. Family Notes/Mementos/Items Backstory: Would be nice to spawn with stuff like a Wedding ring, Note from Wife, pendant memento from one of the Family stuff like that! 4. Use for Razor and Toothpaste: Could link with the Survivor part. After all, who would like to talk to someone whose breath smells like a rotting corpse. Hair could progressively grow making it harder to see/easier to be grabbed by a Zombie etc. 5. Lock/Unlock Doors: T'would be nice rather than to leave your safehouse door unlocked for your return allowing any roaming survivor to let themselves in. 6. Hiding: Spotted by a horde? Dive in the nearest trash bin (those huge ones not the wheelies) sure you'll become dirty (possibly need to use the shower cause you stink) but at least you're not dead....yet. 7. Multi-Player Walkie Talkies: "Please come help, I'm hiding in the bathroom in the house west of the Safehouse I can see four guys coming in." "Got it, we're coming to you, Try to hide!" 8. Maniac Trait: Killing zombies = Happiness! Well that's all I've got for now, I'll try to add more as I think of it but that's all I can come up with just suggestions from me! Feel free to discuss your own and I'll shove em' into the list! As a side note, I am aware some of what I've discussed here may already be planned for future PZ Updates!
  8. I very much like this idea! The only other thing then would be running zombies over, and not being invincible if you just idle in the car. Otherwise, A VEHICLE FUTURE IS NEAR! And definitely needed, I personally don't like running through thre whole of Muldraugh.. .You know... S'kinda... big.
  9. I'm honored that my Post was answered by Lemmy, Twice even! That's why I love PZ, You never feel on another planet than the devs! The only problem I can see with the invisible character, is Zombies going through the sprite, unless you can turn collision on and off when the car sprite appears? .
  10. T'would be nice to see, might be abit trouble-some to code for turning. moving, and collision with walls/zombies, although it'd be lovely to see, I know it's a hell of a hard thing to code though, and since I've only coded a small 2D Platforming game in flash and found that complicated.... GOODLUCK! XD
