Instead of mapping RB (right bumper) and LB (left bumper) to single actions, it would be very useful if they could serve as function shifters. An older MMO TERA did this and it worked really well.
So when you hold down RB you could map:
RB + X
RB + Y
RB + B
RB + A
RB + LT
RB + RT
RB + direction pad down
RB + direction pad up
RB + direction pad left
RB + direction pad right
And similarly when you hold down LB you could map:
LB + X
LB + Y
LB + B
LB + A
LB + LT
LB + RT
LB + direction pad down
LB + direction pad up
LB + direction pad left
LB + direction pad right
And you could also map
RB + LB
This would give controller users so much more mapping options.
That is what the blogs are for, for giving us insight on the direction they want to go and what we can expect for future updates. I suggest you go back and read all those that came out because they can answer a lot of your questions that you have asked here. Here is one recent interview that might help too. I felt that it answered a LOT of questions.

Go on the official PZ discord and hop in the discussion threads that they open when patches, blogs, etc come out. Theyre not going to comment on every single post that someone makes because there is a LOT of those that would take up all their time. Not even the community manager can do that on all the platforms they have available.

The first will give you the loot distribution and the second information needed for crafting.
