How do I set up my map for playing in-game?

Just as the title says, I'd like to know how to set up my custom map so that I can play it in-game. If its useful to know, the map contains one cell, custom buildings, and no custom tiles. I have no experience modding this game prior to this, so I have no idea what exactly is required of me to do this, so any help would be greatly appriciated!

I'd rather not download a random file from a stranger off the internet, nothing against you specifically, I'm just cautious when it comes to that kind of stuff online. Could you just explain what files I need and (if necessary for whatever purpose) send screenshots?
